"Taehyung," Jungkook called his name softly in a whisper. Taehyung raised his head his caramel eyes meeting Jungook softened chocolate ones.

Jungkook melted for a moment before he cleared his throat. 

'yeah well this was a bad idea'

"Tell me about it," he murmured.

"Jungkook?" Taehyung whispered sounding surprised and hurt at the same time.

"Hahaha, hi," Jungkook said awkwardly. But in reality, he was happy that Taehyung still remembered his name.

"I just saw you and thought I'd say hi,"

"You really didn't need to," Jungkook tried to ignore the emphasis on 'really' and focus on Taehyung. He scratched his neck.

"What?" Taehyung asked coldly.

"I have been thinking about three years ago and-"

"If you're gonna apologize again, don't start-"

"No-I mean- but-"

"You hurt me Jungkook,"

Jungkook froze and let it sink in.

"And nothing you say will change that."

Jungkook was about to open his mouth but closed it his hand turning into fists by his sides.

"I forgave you, every single time," Taehyung's eyes were glossy shining in the dim parking lot lights.

"Taehyung-"

"Do you know how worthless I felt for forgiving you every single time? Huh? Jungkook do you?" A tear slipped out of Taehyung's eye.

Jungkook also let that sink in.

He realized it, multiple times he had forced himself on Taehyung, leaving Taehyung alone every time to be distressed. Taehyung was right, he wasn't there for him through anything. Maybe he should've not avoided Taehyung. Maybe that was the problem. He was wrong to come here, he was wrong to make Taehyung cry again, he was wrong.

He was just so wrong.

But then he realized something else.

Jimin's words rang through his head.

"I loved you... I still love you,"
