Yay! I've finally updated! (I haven't updated a lot since I felt like any posts we got from Shannon recently weren't really that relevant or having to do with the info we want) so I'll be starting to post a little more.
Also, I think I've deleted most chapters in this book (Well, unpublished, bc I can't seem to let go of anything XD) that have to do with Unlocked, like unlocked sneak peaks and quotes and stuff.
Anyways cool theories I've seen for what might happen next! (Most of these are from the fandom wiki so yeah-also, a lot of these theories are pictures, so I hope you can read the pictures, if not, I've written it out below the picture, since I believe in equity. It took a looot of time though lol so to those who can't read the pictures, you're welcome. And if you can read the picture, good job, you can skip the written text part)

Written text: So, brant's last name is specifically removed from the files in unlocked. So clearly, he's going to turn out to be related to someone. Many people think he's a vacker, and though it's a good one, I think it's someone else. Could Brant be marella's sister? Hear me out. Brant's parents couldn't handle the guilt of a broken mind, so they couldn't care for him. What if caprise redek, marella's mom, suffers from extreme mood swings because her mind is partially broken? What if the "falling off a balcony" story was all fabricated? A highly trained telepath could make people forget that he is their child, and make Elwin think he treated marella's mom. Also it would explain this line.
"And I get to meet the new recruit, a redek, no less. I'm assuming your mother doesn't know about this new hobby, given how much she sacrificed to keep you hidden away."
Fintan could be talking about how much caprise sacrificed himself to sever ties to her son. Plus Marella was born 4 years after Brant broke. That's more than enough time to make everyone forget, start a new life and have another child, given the elves's indefinite lifespans. Plus, marella's a pyrokinetic and so is Brant, siblings with the same ability. It explains how the parents knew what to do and how calm they were when Marella manifested, if they had been there before. Another popular theory is marella's dad is trix, the neverseen's guster. So let's say, caprise discovers her son's and husband's involvement with the Neverseen, and makes a deal (sacrificing) to make sure they don't come after her daughter as well. And maybe the Neverseen were the ones to make everyone forget about Brant, since they don't want people asking too many questions. So caprise makes a deal. Maybe the deal breaks her sanity. Or maybe she was to throw herself on on the balcony to get brain damage, so even if she did go to the authorities, no one would take her seriously. Doesn't matter what the deal is, only that it was hard for Caprise, making the earlier line make sense.
