I was bored so I decided to take a stab at coloring the original art in this version of book 1! I did it digitally using sketchbook.
Also, warning, when I do art, there's a reason I never color it and it's always in black and white. As you can see, I could improve on my digital coloring skills but I'm learning :)

As you can probably see, I'm working on coloring skin tones 😂 And ignore the hands, I tried my best XD At first I was having some trouble drawing Sophie's hair but then I just combined a bunch of blonde hair tones and I think I did pretty well. Also, yes, I did draw my rough-sketch-interpretation of a gulon at the top 😂 I also outlined a bunch of those labels on the bottles and boxes and everything because it was hard to see and it felt like it needed an outline.

If you do this please tag me so I can see it! (I'm not the original drawer but I still want to see your cool coloring :) Tbh though this took a day to do and it actually helped cure my boredom (for today). I'm happy Shannon decided to make this grayscale! In the future, when the illustrations are released, I might color them if I'm bored and have a lot of time on my hands 😂 we'll see!
