Goodbye Guardians

Blue sighed as he packed his travel bags so he can leave. He was at his home in Underswap, readying himself to say goodbye to his brother before he departs from his world.

His Papyrus was leaning on a doorframe that lead to Blue's room, wallowing on his brother's leave.
For the first time ever, he stopped smoking just for today.

"Are you sure you're going? Underswap would be incomplete without you." His Papyrus said, trying to get him to stay.

"I already told you, Paps. Once I leave, a new Sans will replace me and you'll forget I exist. I-It's easier for us to be happier that way." Blue stated.

"But why? I don't want another Sans to replace you. I want you." He replied sadly.

"Paps, you know I can't stay here any longer. Besides, I'm already starting to glitch..." Blue showed his hand that was glitching and his left eye started to have error signs on it.

Papyrus looked down at him sadly. He knew it was the right thing to let his brother go. For the sake of their universe, his brother must depart forever.
He was trying really hard not to cry, because letting go of his real brother was the hardest thing he could ever do.

Once Blue finished packing his stuff, he placed the travel bag on his back and bid farewell to his brother. Papyrus hugged him and tears slipped down his eyes. Blue as well started to cry.

"J-Just a little longer..."

"O-okay..."

They both hugged for like an eternity and both started crying, knowing this was going to be the last time they'll see each other in forever.

They parted away from the hug after a few minutes and Blue waved goodbye to him as he stepped into the portal, finally leaving his AU for good.

"Are you sure about this?" Ink asked worriedly.

Dream was packing a few more stuff before he leaves everything for good. He sighed and looked at Ink, who was about to cry for an obvious reason.

"Yes, Ink. I'm sure about this. I-I just need to focus on my life now. I've been so busy caring about other people's lives that I totally forgot about my own. It's not fair for people to keep using me as a tool to make them happy. I deserve to live a normal life too." Dream answered.

"B-But what about your bro-" Ink was cut off with Dream glaring at him.

"He's not my brother! Not anymore..." Venom laced in his voice as he retorted what Ink said to him.

Ink shrunk back with a bit of fear. "B-But w-what about the balances???" He said.

"What about them? You never cared about it, so why bring it up?" Dream said, clearly not in the mood to talk about this.

Ink stayed silent and tried to think of a reason why he brought that up. "M-Maybe because of F-Fate??" Said unsurely.

Dream looked at him with anger in his eyes. "SCREW FATE! THEY'RE THE REASON WHY I'M IN THIS MESS!" He hissed.

"You should be angry too, Ink! Don't you see? They're manipulating you to do things they want you to do! Don't you want to feel in control of you own life rather than being used as a tool for their own entertainment?! They made our terrible fates happen for their own amusement! We have to stop being controlled and start controlling our own lives!"

"B-But they created m-me. I can't just turn away from that."

"You know damn well that isn't true, Squid." A new voice entered their conversation. They looked up to see Error looking down on them from his glitchy portal while eating a bar of chocolate.

"Oh yeah? And how do you know?" Ink just asked him like it was completely normal for Error to come sneaking up on them.

"Well duh, I know Fate like I know my puppets. They're not the ones who created you. You were stolen from your original creator, just like how I was stolen." Error started.

"Oh yeah? Prove it!" Ink demanded.

"You used to have a soul before Fate destroyed your entire AU and reshaped you into a soulless b*tch."  Error stated. Ink was about to protest, but he carefully thought about it for a second before realizing it.

"THEY DESTROYED MY AU?!" Ink screamed.

"Yeah, no sh*t." Error said as he finished eating his chocolate bar and practically ate the wrapper as well. Dream gave a 'WTF' face as he saw that.

"What are you even doing here?" Dream asked curiously with a face of disgust.

"Your bro- I mean, 'Nightmare' wanted me to spy on you to see if you were being serious on leaving earlier." Error said as he reaches out to another portal to grab another chocolate bar.
"And it looks like you are, so I better tell Nights." Error started eating the chocolate bar while the wrapper was still on.

Both looked at Error with disgust on their faces. "You disgust me." Ink commented. "Yeah? Well, your whole existence disgust me." Error talked back.

"Tell Nightmare that I won't be coming back. I'm moving far away where my no one will ever find me." Dream said as he grabbed his bags. Error gave a nod, but before he went out he remembered he has to give something to Dream.

"Before I go, someone wanted me to give you this." Error dropped a folded note to the ground and closed his portal.

Dream picked up the note and unfolded it. Carefully checking the familiar handwriting.
