The Traveller

Blue was getting worse as each day passes. His glitches were getting out of control and he's running out of places to hide from everyone.
His white bones were starting to change it's color into black. He was transforming into an error.

He couldn't take this anymore.
First, he lost his home.
Second, he can't go back.
And Third, he has to stay away from everyone to keep them safe.

He was feeling hopeless. He didn't know what to do now. If only a miracle would happen.

"Oof-" Someone stumbled in front of him. He was another skeleton that had a gray jacket over a white shirt and dark gray pants, a golden necklace with a big bluish gem in the middle, and a brown book with a blue portal-like figure on the cover.

"Are you okay?" Blue asked.

"Does it look like I'm okay? I just fell out of my portal." He said as he picked himself up and dusted his clothes. He opened his book to and looked at Blue.

"So, you must be Fallenverse Blue #1. Nice to meet you, I'm Dimen." He said blandly and pulled out his hand for a handshake. Blue shook his hand, not knowing what's going on right now.

"Let's cut to chase already, Do you want to become a Dimensional Traveller? We can fix your glitching problems too, but just a bit." He said, sounding like he's not feeling up to this at all.

"Uhh... What do I do?" Blue asked.

"Basically just say, "Yes" or "No" to my question, it's as easy as that." Dimen said, not bothering to look away from his book.

Blue facepalmed. "No, what I meant was, what am I going to do when I'm a Dimensional Traveller?" He corrected himself.

"Oh, you're just gonna go through different Multiverses and observe them one by one. You have to write them down on a book that I'm gonna give you and record the data you've encountered." He explained.

"Wait, why me?" He asked.

"Don't ask me, the creator of this story wanted it. No more questions, so are you in or out?" He said. Before Blue could answer his question, Dimen spoke first. "Y'know what, save it. I already know you agreed. You don't actually have a choice here. Let's just go before this gets any longer." He said blandly.

"Uhhh... Okay?" Blue agreed to this weird job that he was gonna have. Totally not freaking out because of stranger danger.

They both went into a blue portal, as soon as Blue steps in. He felt himself float, as if the floor didn't exist there. He looked down to see millions of portals scattered around the black void like outer space.

"Welcome to the Core of Dimensions. Each portal here leads to a new dimension or Multiverse. You can also select the time that you prefer when visiting one of them. If you're having trouble finding the portal, just say the specific name and it'll come to you." He explained.

Dimen then summoned a small portal in front of him and put his hand in. He pulled out a book and a similar amulet from it then gave it to Blue.

"Once you wear this necklace, your glitching problems will stop it and milimalize it. It can also protect you from curses and spells, and you can make a shield with it as long as you have enough magic to do so." He said.

Blue took the amulet and wore it. He felt his glitches reverse and the black bones he had were now white. The only glitch left was on his left eye with a few error signs popping up and constantly glitching out of place.

Blue smiled brightly and thanked him. Dimen nodded and gave him the book.

"Now this, is your dimensional book. Everytime you experience or observer something in another multiverse, it'll be automatically written in the book, you can manually write too if you have nothing to do. And don't worry about how many pages these have, because they're infinite and just keeps going." He explained to him.

"Also, here." Dimen pulled out a new outfit for Blue. There was a blue t-shirt, a light grey jacket, some grey pants, and a pair of leather shoes. "This will be what you're wearing from now on." He said. "Now I gotta go. My Marshmallow would be mad at me for being late again, bye." He opened a portal to Pillowtale and left Blue all alone in that place.

Blue got changed into his new outfit and used his old bandana as a scarf. That way, his past still sticks with him wherevee he goes.

He inhaled softly and was ready to go on his first mission.
