Mizuki's point of view

After dinner, I helped Ko-nii with the table and washing the dishes so he can return to tutoring the others. Nishinoya-san and Tanaka-san offered to help but I refused. After the last plate was rinsed and dried, I proceeded to fetch my violin from my bedroom. I carried it with me back downstairs to the living room where the others were. They weren't in their uniforms anymore, instead, they were in what appears to be pajamas.

Hinata was in an orange pajama set with sun and volleyball prints on it. Kageyama was in a gray hoodie with black volleyball shorts. Nishinoya was wearing a simple white shirt with gray pajama pants. Tanaka was in a lime green sleeveless shirt which was paired with plain black pants. Daichi-san was in a black shirt with white pajama pants. Asahi-san was wearing blue long sleeves with pineapple printed white pajama pants. Finally, Kou-nii was in his usual white pj's.

I quickly walked to the T.V. stand and unlocked the first drawer on the left with the key in my necklace. I skimmed through the neat colored files to look for the purple folder.

You see, my sheet music is divided through semesters then composers. My purple folder has 4 subfolders; Mozart in Yellow, Beethoven in Green, Tchaikovsky in pink, and Vivaldi in orange. I quickly reached for the purple folder in the back of the drawer and pulled it towards me. I quickly but softly placed my case on the sofa that wasn't occupied by any of the guys.

Kou-nii was sitting with Nishinoya and Tanaka on the right side of the center table with what I'm assuming to be their math textbooks. Daichi meanwhile was with Hinata and Kageyama with an English textbook, Asahi helping from time to time but was mostly in his Literature textbook. They were in the back left side of the room while Hinata and Kageyama were... fighting?! I sweatdropped from my spot on the grey couch as I flipped through the pages. I eventually found what I was looking for.

"How long are you practicing tonight?" Ko-nii asked. Nishinoya and Tanaka were looking up from their books to look at the paper I was holding. "Around 3 hours at most. I haven't played this piece in a long time." I respond. He smiled with worry. "All right. I'll bring you some milk later. Don't overwork yourself, ok?"

"Hai." I nodded. I picked up my violin case with the sheet music in my hand. I bowed, then walked to the practice room which was on the opposite side of from the stairs. I opened the door then turned on the light, revealing the spacious room. I quickly set up the music stand and firmly placed my music over it. I unzipped the violin case to reveal the contents; my violin, bow, rosin, and tuner which I don't use often. I peeled off my sweater to be left with a plain black shirt. I applied rosin to my bow then tuned. When it was properly in tune, I picked up my violin then began to practice.

Koshi's point of view

When the sound of the door of the practice room was heard, I turned to the second year in front of me. "Now, you better not raise your voices too loud, ok? Mizu-chi doesn't like to be disturbed when she's practicing." I warned. They nodded their heads which... did not convince me. Despite that, I continued teaching them.

Living Room

It's been around an hour and a half since we resumed our study session when I glanced at the clock. 'It's getting pretty late. We should continue this tomorrow. Besides, I don't want them overworking themselves... especially Mizu-chi.' I clapped my hands loudly in a pattern. A few seconds later, the door to the practice room opened. Mizu-chi poked her head out from the doorway. "Is it really that late?!" she said when she glanced at the clock. "Yep. We better stop for now. We'll continue tomorrow." Daichi agreed with the statement then everybody started fixing their things.

"Mizu-chi, 30 more minutes," I said.

"1 hour."

"45 minutes."

"50 minutes."

"25 minutes. That's my last offer."

While this was happening, my teammates collectively sweatdropped at our childish antics. "Does this happen often?" Tanaka asked Daichi. "Yep. Mizuki is a hardworking person. One time, she was so focused on her practice that she didn't know she was practicing until dawn!" Daichi answered. This only increased the team's interest in the girl. "What school does she go to?" Kageyama asked the Captain. "She goes to E.M.U. It's short for Evergreen Music Academy. She's a Violin major." The team awed. They turned back to the bantering siblings.

"Fine. 30 minutes." Mizuki pouted. Which sent butterflies to flutter in Noya's stomach. He blushed as he felt it but brushed it aside.

'What was that?'

When Mizuki finally caved, she only had 30 minutes left to practice. Mizuki went back into the practice room while the boys arranged their things on the table. When they were done, they followed Koshi up the stairs. When they got to the top, they were surprised by a dimly lit corridor. The walls were supposed to be white but because of the purple led lights, they turned violet instead. There were 4 doors, each with a different label. To their right was a dark oak door with a hanging white sign plate that read Koshi in black cursive writing. Further down the hall, was a polished birch door with a dark oak sign plate. This time, it read Mizuki.

Across from the door was the storage room according to the sign plate. Koshi slid open the door and turned on the light illuminating the hallway and the room itself. There was a big cabinet in the opposite wall with shelves on the left and right filled file organizers which were also filled with papers with what appeared to be folders. Koshi opened the door of the cabinet then pulled out a set of blankets and pillows and handed them out to everyone. Meanwhile, Nishinoya can't hold his curiosity any longer and pulled out a blue organizer, randomly pulling out a folder and opening it carefully.

"Ne Suga-san, what are these?" Hinata asked from behind, causing Noya to jump. Suga looked up from giving Kageyama the blanket. He walked to the curious pair holding the folder. The rest of the team gathered around them and peaked at the papers. "Ah, those are Mi-chi's sheet music. That's from middle school I think." He said. The folder contained stapled papers of Debussy's Violin Concertos, Sonatas, and Symphonies. Tanaka pulled out another folder, the contents containing more papers from the folder in Noya's hand. "What about these?" he asked. Suga turned to Tanaka and walked to peak at the papers. "That's hers too. But that's from junior high. Around her third concert." The team awed at her accomplishments. The folder in Tanaka's hand contained sheet music from Mozart. Some of his Sonatas and Violin Concertos. Nishinoya and Tanaka neatly put back the sheet music and proceeded out of the room after Suga handed them their blankets and pillows.

When they walked out of the room, they were greeted with Mizuki climbing up the stairs carrying her violin case.

"Where do you guys plan on sleeping? The guest room won't be able to fit you all..." she asked, Suga answered the question while ruffling her hair.

"We'll be in the living room. You go get sleep now, ok?" he said,

"Hai hai." She said in an exasperated tone. Suga kissed her on the forehead then lightly pushed her to the direction of her room, which was further down the hall.

"Good night, everyone!" she bid as she bowed towards the boys. The guys did the same, bidding her goodnight as she opened the door to her room, went in, and closed it behind her.

They all went back down the stairs and prepared the futons.

After a little chat, they all went to sleep.
