It was a lazy day. All there was to do was the simple streaming or just talking to friends. Dream had been talking to George, Sapnap, Karl, and Quackity all day. He had very little excitement, besides the fact that they'd all be meeting up in Florida. They had planned this trip not even a month ago. They'd be meeting up in a week. Dream was so excited to see his best friends and his two other good friends. But most of all, he was most excited to see George. He didn't know why, but he just felt this excitement rush through his body when he thought of bringing George into a welcoming hug when they'd meet. He didn't want to wait any longer, but he couldn't show that in front of everybody. Especially George.
George was very excited to go to America for the first time. He couldn't believe he'd be going there in 7 days. George was so happy to the point he started packing 2 weeks early. The one thing he was concerned about was, why was he overly excited to see Dream over everyone else. George had no idea where this came from, he always thought of Dream as a best friend, but recently, he's been thinking of him as, a soulmate.
Dream was sleeping when he suddenly woke up to a phone call. He grabbed up his phone and wiped his eyes so they weren't blurry, it was George. "At 2 am?" Dream asked himself . He answered the call and George said, "Hey, Dream" in a shy and quiet voice. "George, it's 2 am here, I know it's 7 am in the UK but, why call so early? Are you okay?" Dream had asked in a concerned tone. Dream didn't like it when something was wrong, it made him worry, since he had a soft spot for George. "Um, nothing I just wanted to talk to someone, could you possibly go on discord? By chance?" George asked. "Oh, yeah, of course I can, I'll be on in a few" Dream answered. Dream felt this weird feeling of excitement mixed with nervousness. What did George have to say? And why did he sound so, nervous?
A few moments later, Dream was in discord, waiting for George to call. He was on Twitter scrolling, waiting patiently. Dream was startled by the sound of the discord ringtone. Dream answered, "George, what's going on, are you okay?" George was quiet for a moment, he was zoned out questioning the possibilities of Dream liking him as much as George like him. "George...?" Dream asked. "Oh, sorry, I was zoned out. Um yes I am okay, I just wanted to talk to someone, I felt lonely." George said. "Oh, well, I'm glad you're okay" Dream said relieved. "Haha, yeah I'm ok, but umm, I wanted to thank you for uh, joining my stream today" George said nervously. "Oh haha yeah of course, no problem........uhh, you looked.....great today." Dream thought to himself, "why did I do that, that makes me look like an idiot!" George laughed nervously and thanked him. The call was silent and full of tension that wouldn't dissipate.
Surprisingly, they were eventually able to hold a conversation for about 5 hours. There was a bit of flirting thrown around, but they both ignored it thinking it was nothing. "Well, I'm going to stream, should we add Sapnap?" George asked. "Umm, well he might be sleeping. Let me call him on his cell" Dream said. Dream rings Sapnap's phone when he realized that Sapnap was visiting family for a few days, so he didn't have any service. "Wait, George, he can't call, he's visiting family remember? He's going to be gone for a few days" Dream stated. "Oh yeah you're right, well, I guess we'll be alone today." George confirmed. Dream received a shiver down his spine when he heard the word "alone." He loved it when it was just him and George, it let him be a little free with his flirtatious statements. "Yep, it's just us, are you starting now?" Dream asked curiously. "Yes, anddd we are live!" George said excitedly. Both Dream and George were a bit nervous, but they just ignored it, for now.
