When he was still a kid with big blue eyes who hadn't yet witnessed death and war, people told Tommy tales about an old world, away from everything, beyond the ocean and the sky.
Phil told him that it had the biggest trees of the whole world and that you could fall asleep on their branches. Willbur said that dragons, unicorns and other magical creatures lived there. Technoblade even stated that people grew wings when they entered the land.

Some people swore that they had seen the place but no one truly believed them. It was nothing more than a story or a legend.
A legend called The Home Land.

L'Manburg...
L'Manburg: Tommy's only place he had ever called a home, was now all blown up. The country where "men could go and emancipate" was now forever gone.

As the sun set, the blond boy called a name he said so many times.

"Tubbo... ?"

And an answer, he heard so many times, came.

"Tommy?"

He took a deep breath and then asked a question.

"Would you like to run away with me?"
"Eh? What do you mean?"
"I want to go on an adventure. To find The Home Land."
"The what?"
"The Home Land, Tubbo! You know, sometime you really are stupid."
"What is The Home Land?"

Tommy sighed.

"Phil and everyone used to tell us story about it. It seemed extraordinary!"
"Oh! Yes, I remember, now! Yeah. It really seemed like a wonderful place."
"Well I want to find it and live there.:
"But... But L'Manburg-"
"Tubbo, listen, listen, listen. L'Manburg is just a fucking crater, now. What is the point to stay here?"
"I don't know... Maybe we could try to rebuild..."
"Again? You know it didn't work out... And... it wouldn't be the same."
"I know."
"Tubbo, do you want to come with me to The Home Land?"

Tubbo didn't answer. He only stared to the sun going out in the distance. It was really pretty.

"

Tubbo?"

His friend looked back at him with deteemination filling his eyes – and let's ignore the tears, it would be better that way.

"I'm coming with you, Tommy," he answered.

Tommy smiled. A tear even tried to fall on his cheek. But he just stared at his friend and the sunset and screamed something insulting to Tubbo, as usual.

The Home Land. A legend according to everyone. A place to live happily ever after according to two friends.
