Malik's POV

Seeing Monique and Daniel happy with someone else makes me sad. I know that if I had them back,  I'd be a better man.

"What the fuck is wrong with you?"

"Don't start Allison."

She scoffs at me. "You made the decision to leave her, and so what? You plan to mess things up for her? I refuse to let you do that to your son and his mother, who you clearly gave up."

"I know and I made a mistake."

"Thank you for finally admitting that! Bye Malik. Lose my number."

"Bye thot."

I don't know what it is but she makes the most pissed off facial expressions. Should I start running?

"Nah, sit yo ass right there! I'll do the running for you. You afte willing to destroy someone's happiness for your own satisfaction. Yet, here I am trying to be a good girlfriend to you, it doesn't ever look like we're getting married."

"Okay. Bye you aren't who I want anyway, but thanks for letting me snatch ya soul." She seals out of the house, slamming my door.

Andre's POV

"Wifey!" I shout from the bedroom. "Can you bring me some soup. I got a cold from all the snow.

"Can I throw it on you?"

Monique's POV

"Yeah! Come throw that ass!" I bring his soup to him. The kids wanted to stay at the parents. I watch Andrew eat. Why are you so handsome?

"You can ride my face." He says when he catches me staring at him.

"No. I don't need you sneezing and shit while I'm riding your face. Get well first.

"Why are you torturing me?" He asks as I leave the room, swaying my hips.

"You're a man, you can handle it."

"That's on PERIOD POOH!"

Wow. Did he really just say that?

"Do you need anything else, pooh?"

"Don't call me that."

I laugh at him before kissing his forehead. He holds me by the waist.
"I love you."

"I love you too, pooh."

I can feel his eyes on my back.

"Have a good day!" I smile when I leave the house. At the diner now, I see Ashley.

"Hey bestie!" I yell.

"Hi bestie, what's the news for the day?"

"Um.... Well..... How do you tell your best friend this?"

Ashley's POV

How do you actually tell your best friend that you have cancer?

I hold her hand and just say it. "I have cancer Monique." Her face falls.

"Repeat that?"

"I, your best friend, Ashley, have cancer. I  watch her facial expressions as they change from sad, to tearful, to sad, and then back to tearful.
