"Where's Hidan?" Kumiko asked.
"W-What?"
"He came over to your house last night, right? I don't see him around." She inquired while looking around your house.
You fell silent and shifted your gaze to stare at the window on your right.
"He's... gone."
"Gone where?"
"I don't know, Kumiko. How should I know? In fact, I don't really care." You grumbled, your nose crinkled in disgust.
"Don't tell me..." she stared at you with wide eyes and raised eyebrows as she lightly squeezed both of your hands in front of you.
"What?"
"You kicked him out, didn't you?"
She knows me too well, I can't lie to her. You thought to yourself.
It's true. You and Kumiko have been friends ever since you left the Hidden Leaf Village and decided to live in the Hidden Grass Village. She's the only person that you've spent most of your time with and somehow you have to admit, sometimes she understands you better than anyone else and perhaps better than you understand yourself.
