Heather's POV

I was freaking out. I was going to meet up with the mystery person tomorrow. I did tell Donna about it and asked her to come with me but she said she had some stuff to do which sucked. I am an extremely awkward person. I couldn't go to sleep. Which was absolutely fantastic. It was also a Saturday meaning I don't have school tomorrow. This mystery person better be grateful because I'm waking up early for her.

Me and this mystery person were going to meet up at Pops because it was a very public place and so many people were there all the time. And had amazing french fries, they were good deep-fried potatoes.

I finally got to sleep. What felt like 5 minutes later my alarm decided to go off.

"What the fuckkkkkkkkk!" I screeched. I got up and went through my toolbox. I grabbed the hammer and started whacking my alarm clock. "Who's silent now huh? Yea that's what I thought," I just owned my alarm clock. "Anyways."

I grabbed my outfit for the day which consisted of ripped jeans and a hoodie. Which had my old school's logo on the front of it.

Donna did set some rules for me. That I can't kiss them or go home with them. I wasn't going to anyway, I was dedicated to Donna.

I hopped into my car and the engine purred. I loved this car too much it was actually a little sad. I was off to Pops.

I pulled in. I was really nervous. I was a super awkward person so I was screwed. I was not one for starting conversations. All I do is say something random and then it starts a whole conversation. That's my way of talking to people.

I walked into Pops. This mystery person said they weren't there yet. So I decided to take a booth near the window. Of course, Veronica was working today so she's probably gonna start some rumor that I was cheating on Donna with my secret admirer. I wouldn't be surprised if she did.

"Hey, Heather! How is it going?" She greeted me.

"Uhm not much. How are you?" I asked looking down at the menu.

It was very awkward between me and her. I had a feeling she still liked me. She had a boyfriend, and possibly a girlfriend too! Well not like a threesome. My guess is Veronica would break up with Archie and get with Betty. I was hoping that at least.

"Pretty tired I will admit. You with anyone?" she asked.

"Uh, yeah. I'm meeting someone here. They are coming in a few minutes," I looked out the window to see if I could find anyone from school that was alone. No luck.

I saw disappointment spread across her face. She tried to cover it up by smiling and getting ready to write something down.

"That's cool. I hope you have fun on your date! I thought you and Donna were together no? Well anyways, what can I get you today? Or do you want to wait for your date," she got ready to write something down.

"Oh no. It's not a date. This person has been sending me secret texts. It started off with a note and we've been texting back and forth the whole time. I was supposed to figure out who she was before prom and take her but I kept getting sidetracked which I felt bad, but she said it was ok. And I am with Donna and plan on staying with her. Donna knows I'm here, I even invited her, but she had plans. I'm just seeing who this person is and I am hoping we can be good friends," I blabbered.

"Oh ok. But can I get you started off with anything?" she repeated.

"Oh, yea sorry. I would like a Dr.Pepper, please. No food yet I want to wait till she gets here," I smiled at her.

I strategically placed myself not to look at the door. Make it more of a surprise as my secret admirer slips into the other booth across from me. That would be cool.
