AN: Continues from the end of the last chapter. Hope you enjoy reading!

- Third POV -

"(Y/N)?" The Doctor puts his arms on her shoulders and gently shakes her.

"(Y/N)!" He keeps shaking her but harder this time. All the Avengers have faces filled with horror and some with worry. Not all of them are familiar with panic/anxiety attacks or experiencing them.

(Y/N) continues whimpering with her hands on her ears rocking back and forth. Her head keeps hitting the glass every time she rocks towards it.

"Is she okay?" Clint asks, unfamiliar with what's happening after all he has a happy healthy family and has probably never felt like this. Ever.

"No, no, I apologise for this. Please give me a minute." The Doctor inspects (Y/N) looking for anything that might help snap her out of her panic anxiety.

"Стой, стой, не трогай меня." "(Stop, stop, don't touch me.)" She begins shuffling around away from everyone with her eyes still closed and hands clamped over her ears.

- What (Y/N) is seeing -

Blood everywhere, bodies everywhere.

The once white floors covered in layers of blood.

Four bodies.

Twin boys.

A girl.

A mother.

(Y/N)'s family's corpses lay lifeless and cold, pale like ghosts, the splattered blood on their bodies an exception to their pale complexion. Starved and cut. Beaten and bruised. That's how she found them and that's how they'll always be. Dead.

The images of their bodies never leaves her mind. Never.

Their blood smeared onto (Y/N) as she sees herself trying to save them, trying to bring them back from the dead. Like a dream, she can see her family and herself, she's like an overseer watching over helplessly.

Blood. It's in their hair and frothing out of their mouths. In their past and in her future.

- End of that gruesome description, back to the previous POV -

"(Y/N)? Can you hear me?" She stops rocking back and forth and her whimpering quietens

The Doctor notices this and starts rubbing small circles on her hands, something that always calmed her down whenever this happened in Hydra. He starts whispering to her.

"You're safe. You're okay. We aren't in Hydra anymore, they can't get to you anymore." Slowly her whimpering stops altogether and she turns to look at the Doctor with her eyes glossing over with tears. He smiles sadly at her.

"You're safe now." She only frowns.

"I will never be safe, Hydra will always come. Hydra always wins. Real heros don't exist." This makes the Doctor frowns.

"You are safe now, we will keep you safe." Natasha interrupts and stands up. "I will protect you even if no one else will." The mood amongst the Avengers shifts slightly.

"If she's protecting you then you have me as well, it's a package deal." Clint speaks up and smiles at her.

"I will also protect you, I know a little about what Buck went through and I want to help you I expect Buck will want to help you as well. Right?" He looks towards Bucky only to see him crying a little.

"I'm so sorry." He looks towards (Y/N) then leaves, memories and all being too much for him to keep it together. Steve follows him out.

"I will also help." Pietro says in his gorgeous accent (AN: You will not change my mind, it's amazing) as he looks to Wanda who smiles at him in agreement.

"I will as well." She smiles at the young woman on the ground.

Once again the Avengers have great timing.

In walks Thor, the god of thunder and Loki god of mischief.

More like Thor walking in dragging Loki who is, trying to read a backwards book? (AN: I had to, sorry.)

"Who is this fair lady brother Stark?" He looks towards Tony who is sitting on the sofa across the room whilst Loki starts looking around for the 'fair lady' with a smirk until he sees her.

"This 'fair lady' is (Y/N)."

(Y/N) is sat on the floor in the corner of the room relatively emotionless, fear is the only emotion there, it's locked in her eyes. Her two (E/C) iris overflowing with emotion, fear being most prominent. She has a man holding onto her shoulders smiling slightly at her whilst her lips are pulled into a tight line with her biting the bottom of it.

He mentally debates whether or not to look into her mind and see what's happening inside of it. What could be this bad? Half of the Avengers are on the verge of tears and the others are wearing sad smiles and worried faces. In the end, he decided not to, he'd just ask someone about it later.

Thor's grip on Loki's cloak loosened and Loki took this as an opportunity and releases himself from his brother's grasp. He goes back to reading his backward book in the corner of the room by the door, the book being called Death Note (AN: Anyone?-) which seemed fitting.

(Y/N) sees the book he has in his hand and then remembers she's read it before, she used to read mangas in Hydra, one of the old doctors gave her the volumes and she remembers it. She smiles remembering what happens and all despite what the book is about-

Everyone looks at her confused when she smiles then they all see that she's looking at the God of mischief. Thor also notices.

"Brother." He doesn't reply so Thor nudges him. "Loki." Loki finally looks up from his book.

"Yes?"

"Lady (Y/N) is looking at you." Loki looks towards (Y/N) trying to find out what she looking at but doesn't succeed in finding it. (Y/N) decides to speak up.

"I've read that. It's good." That's all she says.

"Why yes. It is good, have you read all the volumes?" She nods. "Does it have a good ending?" She nods again. "Don't spoil the ending for me though." He chuckles and she smiles slightly.

"I think lady (Y/N) likes you Loki." Thor nudges him.

"She has good taste in books, I like her." Then he walks off before anyone registers what he'd just said.

"Did he just say that?" Stark decides to chip in.

"Yep" Natasha still seems a little shocked, Loki rarely likes someone especially not someone he's just met. She chuckles.
