Chapter 11

Heyo everyone!

Sorry for going poof! Been a bit busy but I'm back now! Anyways shortish chapter of Grian meeting his new friend! Etho is 5'7 and he is younger than Grian! Also he is mute cause I dunno I guess I enjoyed the concept XD Anyways enjoy!

Tommy was sitting in his last class leaning dangerously far back in his chair. "This is sooooo fucking boring..." He whined and Ranboo had to fight back a laugh. He shook his head and nudged Tommy making him tip back more and only barely saving himself, "How dare you bitch!" Ranboo now had to laugh at his antics and shrugged, "You shouldn't have been leaning in the first place." Tommy gave him an offended look and he smirked. The teacher cleared her throat and they both laughed nervously. They quickly apologized since they didn't want any trouble today. They only had an agonizing two hours left till they could go home.

Meanwhile Grian had had an eventful day. After they left he had sat down on the bed with Tubbo bouncing around him. The little ram kid was way too happy for being stuck at home. He stretched his wings which were much larger than the normal wingspan for his age. They made him stand out sometimes but thankfully he was able to hide them like most other hybrids. After about an hour he got bored of the ceiling and looked at Tubbo. "Hey kid! You got anything fun to do?"

Tubbo looked over at him and grinned, "Ehehe! Well we could go and draw!" Grian almost wanted to cry at how boring that sounded but the kid was glowing in excitement. He was definitely not going soft... Nope... Tommy was definitely going to make fun of him for this later. "Sure kid." Tubbo jumped around with sparkling eyes and they ran downstairs to grab some paper and colored pencils. A second later they came back and placed them on the ground grinning at him. "Now we draw!" He took a piece of paper and started to doodle drawing himself which looked terrible but he enjoyed it. He looked up to see Tubbo drawing a bee, well more like a yellow and black blob but it was still cute. A minute later they proudly displayed it to him and all he could do was laugh till it hurt and pat the kid on the head telling him what a good job he did.

After drawing a little more and a game of charades Tubbo went downstairs to get them some food. Grian layed on the floor with his wings flopped out taking up most of the floor at full length. Tubbo bounced into the room and stared at him with wide eyes, "Birb!" Grian raised an eyebrow and laughed, "Yeah birb." They layed next to eachother and ate sandwiches while Tubbo played with his wings. He didn't mind and the kid was gentle. "I wish I could fly!" Grian looked at them and smiled, "It's fun... Y'know I used to fly with Tommy all the time before... Well before his wings got hurt. I taught him too haha! The guy is a sweet asshole if that's a thing but we both sure can cause alot of chaos! We'll have to bring you along on our next prank war!" Tubbo cheered and Grian told them about the clouds and wind.

Grian got an idea about an hour later after telling them how he and Tommy once lifted Ranboo so he could feel what it was like to fly. "Do you want to fly Tubbo?" Tubbo jumped up from their spot on the floor and grinned, "Really!" Grian nodded and a second later the two were sneaking out the window. Once they were down he picked up Tubbo carefully since they were only a few inches apart. He had them bridal style and he let his wings relax before squatting so he could push off. "You ready kid?" Tubbo nodded and smiled and his wings extended to full length before he pushed down and they shot into the sky. With his wings it only took them a few seconds to reach the clouds and as they broke through Tubbo cheered.

They hovered there for a second looking at the rolling waves of clouds and how the sunlight reflected off them in a rainbow of colors. He then started to glide about the clouds doing small tricks here and there while making sure to not drop Tubbo. After a few minutes he looked down to see the look of wonder on their face and he couldn't help smiling. The last time he had done this was a few years ago with Tommy when his wings were still growing in. It felt nice and he honestly missed it. They continued flying until his wings started to hurt and he knew he would have to land soon. They started back and he broke through the clouds with a squealing Tubbo. "Ahahha!" Tubbo did not seem to enjoy his laughter so they flipped him off which just made him laugh more. Tommy was rubbing off onto them already.

They landed just behind the house and Tubbo grinned, "That was awesome!" Grian smiled at them and nodded, "I missed doing that... We will definitely do it again!" Tubbo's face lit up and they danced around the yard. "Yay!" He then carefully flew the kid up to the window and told him to take a nap while he explored for a little while. Tubbo waved to him as he flew off and then shut the window but made sure to keep it unlocked. Grian flew up to the clouds again and then towards the forest. He explored around for a while having fun messing around and diving between trees but stopped when he noticed a small treehouse out in the woods. He landed by it and looked around before calling out, "Hello?"

Shuffling was heard and a second later a head of white hair popped out from a hatch underneath the treehouse. Purple eyes met red and silver and they stayed staring for a minute or two before the other decided it was safe enough to climb down. Grian noticed that while this guy seemed taller and wore a mask with army looking clothes he seemed to be quite young. He also didn't look very clean so he assumed he might live here too. "Umm hey! I'm Grian, what's your name?" He stared at Grian for a bit before nervously waving his hands around and then getting a stick. The guy then awkwardly drew something in the mud and Grian looked down, 'Etho'. Grian smiled and held out his hand which Etho took a second later and seemed to be smiling under his mask, "Nice to meet you Etho!"
