After the sludge villain attack, 3rd POV
Walking home with Katsuki and Yuuki by his side, Izuku walked silently with them. None of them dared to make single sound. Katsuki was the most quiet, and Yuuki was just glad that both of her friends were still alive. Katsuki was lost in thought, replaying the scenes that occurred in the incident over and over again. Meanwhile, Izuku was just walking on autopilot thinking to himself.
He tried to think of any solid reason for why what happened to him today would even transpire. It didn't make sense in any way shape or form. He had a quirk. One that allowed him to create any quirk that he wanted, the strongest quirk in the world. He thought of so many different quirks he wanted to create. He had so many pages worth of research and studying he could draw from to decide on what types of quirks to make first.
Yuuki was staring at her only friends and was worried. Katsuki was never quiet, and Izuku was lost in his thoughts even more so than usual. The good news is, at least from what she heard from Katsuki, is that Izuku now has a quirk somehow. How that is even possible is a mystery, but it is a good thing nonetheless. True, with the amount of training Izuku did, the chances of him becoming a hero were definitely very high in the first place. However, a quirk is a very useful tool that can be used to turn the battle in your favor. If a quirk can do that much, then what would multiple quirks do for someone.
Their awkward walk was soon interrupted by Katsuki who finally decided to speak.
"Dekiru... I don't know what happened to you today, but whatever it is, I just want you to know that... I'm glad you awakened your quirk, whatever that quirk may be. In other words... congrats! If you ever want to talk about it, or even if you need help, you can always count on us!" Katsuki said with a smile. Not the arrogant or cocky smile, but a nice, genuine smile.
Yuuki smiled at the 2 and nodded. "I may not have known you as long as Katsuki has, but I do know that you're one of the kindest people out there. Just as Katsuki said, if you ever want help with training your quirk, you can count on the both of us to help you." Izuku looked at her with a small blush before nodding and smiling at the 2. Soon, the group of friends split ways heading home in separate directions.
As Izuku was walking home, he heard the distinct sound of booming running. As he stopped in the middle of the small road, he looked to where the noise was coming be-.
"I AM HERE!!" "AHHHHHH" Suddenly, out of absolutely nowhere, All Might just came sliding out onto the street with a trail of dust behind him. Soon, Izuku managed to get his heartbeat down to the appropriate level, he stood in shock of the number 1 hero.
"A-All Might... how did you get away from the media?!" Izuku asked in bewilderment. All Might merely laughed loudly before he gave an explanation.
"WHEN YOU'RE THE #1 HERO, YOU TEND TO LEARN HOW TO AVOID THE MEDI-ack!!" All Might's explanation was interrupted by him suddenly shrinking and couching up a unhealthy amount of blood.
Izuku looked at the world's most powerful and famous hero and was incredibly worried. All Might however continued coughing up blood for a short few seconds before regaining his composure and then spoke.
"Back there, I don't know how it is you have a quirk when I could tell you were speaking the truth back on the roof about being quirkless. But I don't care about that, when you were running to save your friend, your legs moved on their own, didn't they?" All Might spoke slowly, having a chilling glint in his blue eyes. Izuku froze.
"Yeah, I didn't even have any thoughts while it happened. One minute I was just standing there, the next minute I was sprinting headfirst into the fight." Izuku confessed what truly transpired throughout his ordeal with the the sludge villain. "Also, I have no clue about my own quirk either, back there was the first time I ever did that. The doctor said that I was quirkless and that there was no chance of me being a late-bloomer of some sorts, honestly, I'm as lost as you are."
