As Sarah raced off she felt the wind whipping around her, as she reached the forest she gathered tree branches and decided to save time gather wet plants as she raced back.

10 minutes later she reached to find James finish setting up camp, as she gave him the twigs and big pieces of wood she tied to the horse, he started at work and she started to hers she gathered the small pile and lady it 15 feet away of where they were set to camp.

The wind was picking up, and the thunder came closer. They had to hurry in ten minutes time James finished it was big enough to make a whole room he also added a door, he worked fast Sarah thought to herself finishing putting the metal gear in her project. And not a second too soon the rain started as did the lightning, they rushed the horse and extra supplies inside.

"Nice work James," Sarah stated as she looked through the little window."Thanks." James said breathlessly.

They both looked outside as they watched Srah's project, thankfully the grass was not wet so she laid the dry blanket down, and looked at the food supply they had, 4 sandwiches, 3 apples, 1 piece of fruit cake, 6 pears, wrapped nuts, and 3 sweet baked cinnamon rolls.

As she unpacked their dinner James watched the storm in fright, as he looked at Sarah," Hey Sarah, do you think it is safe." Sarah looked at James and remembered that his parents died in a thunderstorm, "Oh James, it's okay trust me everything is alright." She said pulling him into an embrace. As they heard the thunder the 2 jumped and looked outside the lightning was working on Sarah's project she watched it intently until she realized the key melted, she ran outside to grab the key, only to see the eye of the lightning, she held the key tight but was immobilized. James rushed to her and pulled her back in despite the frightening lightning, as he shook her she got her senses back, "Oh my." That was all she could say. She soon fully regained her senses. As she looked at a worried James and down at her hand.

The key was shaped like a twisted one, " Sarah! What were you thinking?! Do you know how dangerous that was?! You could have gotten killed!" James yelled angrily.

Sarah only stared at the key in wonder hoping Dr.Franklin would appreciate her effort.

James snatched the key out of her hand, as Sarah glared at him, "Hey! Give it back, James!" Sarah exclaimed. "No this key almost got you killed you'll get it when you learn not to run into lightning," James said. "Please, I need to observe it." Sarah pleaded.

Yet still, James refused, Sarah was infuriated, as she went to the other side of the woodwork, as James watched her.

That night she went to sleep without eating as did James the storm was still blowing and howling, James scared as ever, kept scooting closer to Sarah only to find her scooting away all the time.

When a loud sound of thunder came as the ground shook James scooted closer to Sarah, gripping her waist, "James, let me go." Sarah said annoyed, "Please Sarah, I'm sorry I'll give you back the key, I just don't want to be alone." Sarah knew his parents died in a thunderstorm maybe he was scared it would happen again.

" No." She said sitting up, "It's my fault, I know you have bad memories of storms, I shouldn't have made you worry like that." She said snuggling into his chest as she smelled mint leaves and wood.

He handed her the key,as she gave him a kiss on the cheek as he blushed.

Her stomach then rumbled which was her cue to blush, James laughed as they started eating, it was small but nice as they decided to save some for breakfast, and their ride after the interview would get them back around dinner time so they had to save a lot but they worked with it.

As they got ready for bed they decided to sleep together, as James wrapped his arms around her waist, and she wrapped her arms around his chest. They snuggled into each other the smell of mint and cinnamon filling their noses. Despite the storm outside, they layed peacefully.

Arms wrapped around each other.
