As the two got ready for bed, they realized that they loved each other. James went to Sarah's room and they both laughed and talked until James had the courage to kiss Sarah.
She was surprised but didn't hesitate to kiss back, and soon they were sitting on the bed and soon parted, as they breathed looking into each other's eyes. As they both confessed, later James slept with Sarah, slowly kissing her cheeks until she fell asleep.
Later Sarah slowly sneaked out to look at the stars as James opened his eyes to see where she was going he snuck after her. As she looked up she felt a strong but soft pair of arms embrace her from behind and she laid her hands on James' hands.
He sat down as he sat her in his lap, both watching the stars, Sarah started to slowly fall asleep snuggling into the warmth of James as he kissed her cheek.
In The Morning:
Sarah woke up in her bed to find that James was gone, as she put on her usual clothes she went downstairs. She found that he was sitting in the living room with Moses discussing how they were going to get to Boston for an interview with Samuel Adams. "And what are you 2 up to." Sarah said walking down the stairs, "Hey Sarah, would you like to Boston with me?" James asked. " Sure, I am feeling much better," Sarah said cheerfully. " Then it is settled start packing, you leave in 30 minutes," Moses said walking out of the room.
Sarah went to her room grabbing her gadget, journal, pencils, her coat, and blanket. As she went downstairs James had already packed them some food.
As they decided to take one horse on their journey, they packed light and hopped on.
As they rode off James told her they wouldn't be in Boston until sunset or evening so they would have to rest on the road, then in the morning meet Samuel Adams.
Sarah only nodded as she looked ahead.
By the time it was noon they decided to rest a bit, so they went to the nearest tree as Sarah set up the blanket James tied the horse and unpacked the food, as they set it down.
They ate, talked, and laughed occasionally. When they were done they packed up and continued their ride to Boston.
As nightfalls came upon them they found a place on the side of the road, they set up camp.
Sarah looked out in the distance, she knew a storm was coming, based on spending time with Dr. Franklin she knew how to tell if a storm was coming, and this one was going to be a thunderstorm.
Sarah gasped James alerted to the sound looked up, "What is it, Sarah?" James asked.
" There is going to be a thunderstorm in 30 minutes, quick James, you deal with the camp I'll collect some damp plants to put in the field Dr.Franklin will love my report, I'll also need tree branches to build extra protection in case this place gets struck by lightning." She stated, as she got her saddle ready to ride the horse, but being pulled back by James. " Sarah no, it's way too dangerous."
"James, you and I both know that I am good with gadgets, but terrible with woodwork." Sarah stated,"And this would be the experiment of a lifetime, the tree branches will be helpful in case the tent breaks down we will have extra protection." She said, she looked away the storm was getting closer she only had 25 minutes, "We have to hurry, quick set up the tent, and I will be back with the tree branches, in 10 minutes, then I will go for the damp leaves, a small pile and come back, then set it up while you set the tent then we will have 5 minutes to spare, but we must hurry." Sarah said running off to the horse hopping on as the horse stood up on it's hind legs the thunder crackled as she rode off, "Ya!" She was then out in the field as James watched after her feeling very worried.
