Chapter Nineteen

After hours cleaning everything up, the heroes finally got to go to the gala. Thankfully, nobody aside from the villains got seriously injured. They were low level thugs who thought they could take on the top ten pros just to show off. Most of the heroes just had some bruises and scratches; nothing new for any of them.

Katsuki spent ten minutes crying over a small scratch on Izuku's arm while they were getting dressed into their formal clothes. It took Denki coming in, and putting a bandaid on it for the ash blonde to stop crying. Then he spent another ten minutes ignoring Izuku and Eijirou, who teased him for it.

Before the top ten and their partners left the dressing rooms they were given at the gala's hall, Katsuki told them of his pregnancy then made them swear to secrecy. So then Shouto, Inasa, Eijirou, Hitoshi, Denki, Tenya, Yuga, Ochako, Mina, Momo, Kyoka, Tsuyu, and Tokoyami knew of his unborn pup.

After the squealing fest of Yuuga, Ochako, Mina, and Momo, Katsuki then said that he really wants to try being a hero again.

"But dude, I'm not even allowed to be on the field." Denki pointed out with a small frown.

"I'm not looking to jump straight into fighting villains. I'm terrified of my own goddamn quirk." Katsuki stated with a frown.

"But weren't you just using it to help that kid?" Ochako inquired. The others nodded along. Katsuki looked over at Izuku for help.

"Kacchan has only ever used his quirk while feral." Izuku told them. Many gasps echoed across the room. Izuku gave Katsuki a small nudge for him to pick up the explanation.

"When I was..." Katsuki swallowed hard. "Uh, kidnapped. The only way I managed to escape was by-" He took a deep breath. Izuku reassuringly rubbed his back. "It was by going feral. What I didn't plan for was killing six of the seven Death Row members."

Everyone had already heard the story, but those who had not been there did not know exactly what Katsuki went through. The new information visibly shocked them.

"Deku...?" Katsuki whispered pleadingly. Izuku nodded softly.

"A couple of their members faced the wrath of Kacchan's quirk. The one who seduced me was killed by an explosion to the neck. And the one who decided to rape Kacchan got his penis blown to shreds. The others were attacked by Kacchan's claws and teeth. The leader had her neck snapped." Izuku explained to them.

Kyouka and Yuuga looked about ready to vomit. Katsuki was glad Izuku decided not to go into great detail about it.

"Then Kacchan's boss was-"

"I melted his fucking face off after he threatened to kill my pup." Katsuki growled out without any hesitation.

Izuku merely blinked a few times, but did not question why Katsuki cut in.

"I've said it before and I'll say it again, I would've done so too." Denki stated with a huff.

"Yeah. You don't mess with a pregnant omega's unborn pup." Eijirou spoke up. "Keep that in mind for the rest of your life."

"I know I can't just jump back into fighting villains. Pregnant or not, I wouldn't be able to." Katsuki whispered. "But I'd like to start with trying to use my quirk again. And I'm asking for your help."

"Of course, man!" Eijirou agreed.

"Why wouldn't we help you, Bakugou?" Ochako inquired with furrowed brows.

Izuku looked at Katsuki expectantly. He gently pet his hand through his omega's hair while waiting patiently. Katsuki gripped the fabric of his pants in his fists. "Because I killed people." Katsuki whimpered.
