~Present Day~

Katsuki ran his hands through his hair. He let out a shaky breath. He looked up from the wretched thing, staring into his own scarlet irises.

How could he let this happen?

Why was he such a drunken dumbass?

He shook his head, grabbing the stick then throwing it into the trash. If he just ignored it, it would go away.

Right?

He continued about his morning, getting ready to go to work. He had been out sick for the last two days, so he really could not afford to miss another day.

He put on a dark red tshirt with a black jacket. It was early January, so it was really cold out. He tugged on a pair of black jeans, looping a belt around his waist to keep them up. He slipped on a pair of combat boots to complete the look. He then went back into the bathroom, forcing himself to not look at the trashcan, and ran a comb through his hair.

Once he deemed himself presentable enough, he left his room. His parents were not home yet, which meant he could not take the car to work. He muttered a curse under his breath then grabbed another jacket.

He hesitated before grabbing a third one. He really hated the damn cold. He put on the two jackets then grabbed Ryuu's leash off the hook. He whistled, and the lovable canine came running from the kitchen.

"Ready for work, boy?" Katsuki asked as he knelt down. He clipped the leash onto Ryuu's collar. With his dog at his side, he exited his childhood home.

Ryuu was Katsuki's support dog and had been for almost two years. Though he was not officially Katsuki's until April of last year. He helped Katsuki through his anxiety and accompanied him on missions.

Of course, that was only when Katsuki was a hero. He stopped being a hero after The Incident. The Incident made Ryuu even more of a necessity than before. Katsuki's anxiety worsened by tenfolds. He became jumpy, he coward down when yelled at, he was not as bold and defensive as he used to be, and he suffered from anxiety attacks over the smallest of things. He also suffered from P.T.S.D, which did not help his anxiety at all.

Yelling forced him to remember Kanji's hateful words, getting raped by Haru, and the screams of those who begged for help.

Episodes happened whenever his heats neared, and he locked himself in his room to keep out unwanted visitors. During his heats, the thought of The Incident would cross his mind, and things only went south from there.

He flinched every time someone raised a hand to him.

He had nightmares and flashbacks.

At this point, he was so fucked up in the head, he believed his life would never be normal again.

Using his quirk for even the smallest of things set off massive panic attacks.

He stopped cooking. The fear of going anywhere near a knife, occasionally even a mere butter knife, brought up unwanted memories.

And he lost it whenever people tried to push or persuade him to do things.

To top it all off, Doctor Amano put him on anti-depressants because he refused to see the one person capable of truly helping him, which worsened his depression. Katsuki knew this, but he still refused.

Deku hated him. He knew that just as well.

He made it to work safely. He entered then started getting things ready. It was a Saturday, so Nightfire usually got pretty busy. He quickly prepared everything for the night.

His phone lit up, signaling a call from Eijirou, the only person to have his phone number. Katsuki closed his eyes, counting to ten just as his therapist taught him to when his anxiety started to ramp up to unreasonable levels.

Once finished with his counting, he answered the phone. "What the hell do you want?" He asked as he scrubbed down the bar.

"Dude, what happened between you and Midoriya?" Eijirou asked him in a hushed whisper.

Katsuki froze in his movements, and his hand tightened on his washcloth. The water seeped out from the cloth, creating a wet spot on the bar. "What makes you think anything happened?"

"I just got back from my honeymoon, and he's asking to speak with you." Eijirou said.

Eijirou and his two husbands took a month long vacation as their honeymoon. All three of them desired a break from work to focus more on each other. Not to mention Denki had a heat a week ago.

"What the hell am I supposed to say to him?" The red head hissed.

Katsuki blinked a few times. "Nothing. Tell him I didn't pick up the phone."

"He'll ask for your number. Just tell me what happened."

"We fucked!" Katsuki admitted with a growl. His hand smacked down the bar, and water from the puddle splashed him. "We were drunk and I let him fuck me."

"Oh, fuck..."

"Yeah. And now he's probably got the idea that we can try again or whatever, but I'm still not ready." Katsuki said with a huff of air.

"Why can't you tell him that?"

"Because I'm not sure if I'll ever be ready." Katsuki breathed out. He ran a hand through his hair. "Just... Just tell him that I don't want to talk."

"Okay. If you need to talk though, I'm here." Eijirou offered.

Katsuki winced at the tone of hope in his old friend's voice. "I gotta go." He bid the red head farewell then hung up. He ran both his hands through his hair, accidentally getting some locks wet. He squat down beneath the bar, reaching out for his favorite brand of liquor.

But then he stopped with his hand frozen around the neck of the bottle.

"Fuck..." He cursed. He rose up, running a hand through his hair yet again.

He could not drink.

His eyes widened as the morning's events truly sunk it. "Damn..." He breathed out.

He had been pushing the thought away for the last two days. When he was sick, he did everything in his power to deny it. He convinced himself it was just a stomach bug, but all signs pointed to it.

He almost could not believe it.

He stopped taking that medication when he and Izuku split. He thought he would no longer need it.

Then he and Izuku screwed after the wedding.

He felt nauseous at every turn.

He closed his eyes, pinching the bridge of his nose.

"I'm pregnant."

The words rolled off his tongue, leaving a bad taste in his mouth.

He quickly rushed to the bathroom.
