Chapter 18- Broken Ankle

Samantha's POV
*At the hospital*

I sat on the bed next to Chandler waiting for the doctor.
My mom and sister were sitting in chairs on the wall.

I had just got an x-Ray and we were waiting for the results.
The doctor finally came in.
My mom shot up.

"Hello Mrs.Sarah." The doctor said.
My mom smiled and shook his hand.
"Ok so your Daughter Sam, she has a broken ankle." The doctor said.
I looked at Chandler and he looked at me.
"Stop it." I said wiping away one of his tears.

He nodded.
"She doesn't need surgery it's just gonna take a while to heal. She's gonna need a cast for about 1-3 months at the most." The doctor said and I nodded.
"The good thing is you get to pick the color. The bad thing is we have to clean the scratches." The doctor said.
I grunted and was ready.

Chandler got off the bed and I laid down on my back.
Chandler grabbed my hand.
"Ready?" The doctor asked.
I nodded.
He unwrapped the wrap he put on it.
I felt a burn a little after.

I squeezed my eyes shut.
I felt a kiss on my hand.
I smiled and it eased the pain.
"Ok all done with that part." The doctor said.
I sighed and opened my eyes.

I sat up and watched the doctor.
He put some ointment on my foot and wrapped it up with a thin white wrap.
"What color?" The doctor asked me.
I thought for a second.
"What colors do you have?" I asked.
Chandler chuckled.

The doctor smiled.
"Hot pink, red, blue, black, teal, green." The doctor said showing me them.
I looked at them then Chandler.
He smiled and new what I was gonna say.
One of my favorite colors.
"Teal." I said.
He smiled and grabbed the teal.

He wrapped it around and finished it.
"All done." He said smiling.
I smiled.
"Thank you." I said smiling.
He smiled.
"Wait how is she supposed to walk?" Chandler asked.

"You can choose between a wheel chair or crutches." The doctor said.
I looked at mom.
"Crutches would be better." My mom said.
I nodded in agreement.
He nodded and opened a closet and pulled out a pair of crutches.

"Can you stand up for me?" He asked.
I nodded and stood up, holding on to Chandler.
He measured my length from my feet to under my arm pit.
He fixed the crutches and handed them to me.
I put them under my arms and it felt weird.

"You can put these on the rest to make it more comfy." The doctor said handing me a small blanket.
I smiled and put them on my arm pit rest.
"They come with the cast so you don't have to like duck tape them or anything." The doctor said.
I nodded.

"Here are some painkillers." The doctor said writing something down and handing it to my mom.
She took it and smiled.
"Thank you doctor." My mom said shaking his hand.
He smiled and looked at me.
"Be careful with your foot." He said.
I nodded and smiled.

"Can she swim?" Chandler asked.
He nodded.
"It's water proof." The doctor said.
Chandler smiled and nodded.
We walked out of the place and went to the car.
It was 11:00pm at night.
I felt arms pick me up.

I smiled when Chandler was carrying me bridal style.
He smiled and kissed my forehead.
"I'll take care of you." Chandler whispered.
I smiled and snuggled up to his warm chest.

We got to the car and Chandler put me in and sat beside me.
My mom and sister got in the front.
I laid against Chandler and looked at my cast.
It was a little under my knee and teal.
Chandler moved a little and I looked at him. He grabbed a black sharpie and opened it.

I smiled and moved my legs on his lap.
He signed something.
After he was done he kissed that part where he signed and put them sharpie back.
I looked at my leg and read it.

'I Love You Sam, Now in the future you can say that Chandler Riggs broke my ankle.'
I laughed and Chandler was looking at me smiling.
I smiled and laid back against Chandler.
He smiled.

"But you want need to because you'll say husband." Chandler said.
I smiled.
"That's true." I said.
Chandler smiled.

"We're back!" Madison said.
Chandler got out of the car and picked me up.
He brought me upstairs and put me in our room.
"Night Mom! Night Madi!" I yelled.
They both yelled goodnight at the same time.
I smiled and laid down in bed.

I rolled on my side and closed my eyes.
Chandler chuckled and covered me up.
The lights turned off, I heard a door shut, then arms were wrapped around me.
I smiled and turned on my other side and snuggled up to his chest. He wrapped his arms around my waist and pulled me closer.

"No goodnight kiss?" He asked.
I chuckled and looked at his blue eyes.
I kissed him and he kissed back.
He smiled in the kiss as our lips moved in sync.
He pulled away slowly after a little.
"We need to do that every night." Chandler said.
I smiled.

He smiled as I cuddled up to his chest.
"Goodnight." I said closing my eyes.
I felt a kiss on my head.
I smiled.
"Goodnight." Chandler said.
I fell asleep.
