•The Food Fight•
Word count 1760"He keeps appearing in my dreams." Adelina mumbled as she walked beside Stella through the halls. "Who are we talking about again?" Stella asked her playfully. "Riven... if you make me say it again I will kill you." Adelina warned her causing Stella to laugh at her. "What types of dreams?" Stella asks her curiously. "Like the weird ones.... like the ones where we make out." Adelina whispered hoping no one overheard her. "You like him don't you?" Stella asked her sharply. "I do not like him." Adelina protested as she glared at her friend. "Well you think he's hot." Stella tells her sharply. "There's no doubt in that. I just hate how he can get inside my head and make me feel things." Adelina huffed as she sat down at the lunch table.
"Why don't you just make out with him already?" Stella asked her playfully. Adelina simply rolled her eyes at her before she started eating her food. "What are you ladies talking about?" A familiar male voiced asked them as Adelina felt someone sit down next to her. He was a little too close for comfort causing her to look over at him. Her eyes landed on non other than Riven. He had a smirk on his face as he reached over and stole an apple from her plate and took a huge bite out of it. "We were actually talking about you." Stella says playfully. Adelinas eyes widened as she heard Riven laugh beside her. "Good things I hope even though nothing that comes out of your mouth is normally good." Riven says playfully as he wraps his arm around Adelina. Adelina felt her heart quicken at the feeling of his hand on her bare arm.
"We were talking about how much of an ass you are." Adelina replies sharply as she shoves his arm off of her. "Don't you have other friends?" Adelina asked him sharply. "I'd rather spend my time annoying you." Riven says playfully as he gently moves a piece of Adelinas hair out of her face. She hadn't looked at him this entire time because she didn't want to lock eyes with him. She didn't want to get that familiar weird feeling in her stomach she got every time she looked into his eyes. Riven handed her back the apple expecting her to still eat it. She set it down on her plate as she rolled her eyes. "This place sucks." Riven mumbles as he pulls out a cigarette and lights it. "Go smoke outside." Adelina tells him sharply as she finally looks up at him. Riven gave her a flirtatious smirk as he blew the smoke right into her face. Adelina gave him a flirtatious smirk back before snatching the cigarette out of his hand and running away.
"This isn't a game Adi!" Riven screamed over the crowd of people talking. Adelina laughed as she noticed Riven following close behind her. "The amount of fucking cigarettes I lose because of you!" Riven yelled at her. Adelina laughed as she continued to walk away from him. "I told you that you should stop spending time with me!" Adelina yelled back playfully over all the noise of the lunch room. Riven caught up to Adelina and reached for her hand. Adelina jumped up onto a random table where a bunch of first years were eating. "Very funny! Get down!" Riven yelled up at her. Adelina shrugged her shoulders as she jumped to the next table. The lunch room had gotten quiet as all eyes were on Adelina. Riven realized everyone was staring at them and whispering about them. He even heard someone have the audacity to say that Riven was in love with Adelina.
