Lila's POV
Fuck. There goes my chance at having sex with him. He's standing right there, in room 607. Alex. How have I never seen him before, how have we completely avoided seeing each other in the same apartment. Then I remember what he said at the convenient store.
"Do you live in the neighborhood?" I had asked him.
"No, staying with a friend."
I look down at his hands, there i see my out. "Butter pecan, seriously. That is why they were out." I say obviously feighning being angry. He smiles at my scrutiny. I turn back to Connor who has a confused look on his face. I reach up on my tippy toes to close the several inches to his ear.
"Alex meet Connor, Connor meet 'not eager enough'." I whisper with a smile. Connor nods his head then says, louder this time.
"It's nice to meet you Alex, but im afraid I have to get going." He smiled at Alex the turned to leave. I looked over at Alex and say.
"Hey, do you know who lives in 607. I figured some middle-aged guy who had a thing for metal music did." I state with a smile.
He laughs, "yeah, it's me." I give him a questioning look, he said he did not live in the neighborhood. Ignoring my look he continues, "I didn't know anyone live in 606." He says ignoring my heavy metal jab.
I smirk, "I just got moved in, about three days ago."
"That would explain it." I hadn't noticed before but there was a slight accent to his words.
"Where are you from?" I question
He gave me a look i did not understand. Then finally answered. "Sweden". Is all he said.
A sound came from the elevator and Mrs. Lewis from room 602 and her son Jimmy stepped out. She smiled at me then look at Alex with distaste evident. I turned my head to find Alex entering his apartment. He turned to me with a questioning look which I returned ten fold.
"You coming?" He asks. I shake my head and smile.
"Sure, why not." I return. As we both step into his apartment.

Which i know is not a lot, but im really trying to build up to the meat of the story. I'm thinking about putting warning before any erotic sense if that's something you guys want.
