As I made my way to the kids' apartment step by step, ensuring that I kept away from any type of monster nearby, every corner I turned increased my anxiety knowing about the possibility of there being a monster. Even though I was able to hear clearly, I couldn't help but feel a dreadful gut feeling: this was a life-or-death situation. Of course, I would be scared even when armed. I persisted in walking towards their apartment until this door piqued my curiosity. I didn't know my way around this apartment very well but considering the circumstances, it may help me get to the place quicker. I let down my guard and tried to shake open the door, but it was locked. My knuckles became blue from using so much force. Still, I shook it until I heard the buzzing warning on my phone. That was it... a monster was nearby, and I didn't even know what to do.  Panicking, I sprinted away and got back into my stance hoping that the monster was on the opposite side from where I was. I speeded myself just in case and hid in a dark corner. I heard crunching noises like bones breaking and scraping on the walls. What was this thing? I kept hidden away from it wondering what was causing these sounds. Instantaneously I heard the words:

"I can't see"

It sounded as if it was suffocating but I couldn't care less about that. What I cared about was the monster in my room. No way? I could swear I trapped the thing in. I was sure I shut the door! It was too late now. I waited for the perfect time to strike, that was when I heard it get closer. It was extremely painful to listen to its creeping footsteps. I tucked myself into the wall and into an abandoned elevator, then in a second all I could see was darkness. It was as dark as a void. Thank God, because at least I was safe from the monster. Inside the place I had to hold my breath for the walls were drenched in a moldy liquid that smelt like rotten cabbages. Staying in there made my life hell. As the footsteps faded after what felt like a lifetime, I assured myself to step out of the door. Little did I know that the guest from the room was awaiting me.
I tried not to make any sudden movements as it was able to hear quite well. His arm stretched out like springs to the box full of rotten food and its skinny legs were limping.  This was my opportunity to fight. Breathe in, breathe out. Time to prove my worth. Stabling myself I reached out to electrocute his stomach. I walked towards him so I could make the knife stabler inside its stomach. The thing made awful screeching sounds that were hard to bear. Screams of suffering. At this point the knife was stuck out towards the wall so I decided to leave it there. I did a full 180 and made a run for it. I knew that it could detect me despite it being blind. It was definitely behind me: I could hear its sore groaning. I looked back just in time to see its arm coming towards me. I took a turn so it wouldn't be able to hit me. Instead it hit the power box. Another arm came out of its broken arm I felt the breeze as it missed me and hit the wall. What the fuck..

Its arm shrank in size and was pulled back towards its revolting body. A shelf fell over, and I gently got up trying to not make a noise and looked around the corner to see how close it was. It wasn't too close, but it was moving towards me. I shook my hands around to see if I could find anything, that's when I felt a ball, no two... that's when I had an idea, I picked them up and aimed right on the wall so its bounce would reflect. This would confuse the monster since there is sound coming from all around it. I took my move while it was still confused and stabbed it in the back to electrocute it but this time, I did it longer so it wouldn't have enough strength to stand up. I stopped electrocuting it and it fell to the ground still shaking, without thinking I kept walking towards my main goal: saving these kids. I will do this, I am confident...
