Are you kidding me now mum?
"She's pregnant because I got her pregnant, geez mum just quit the bizarre questions already"
"Wow, I can't believe this" Craig exclaims
"Who is this Emerald girl?"
"Her name is Hazel, not Emerald"
"So why does Craig call her Emerald?"
"Oh...cuz she has charming Emerald green eyes, you'll confirm when you meet her"
"So Klaus, is this Hazel the reason why you broke up with Daisy?"
"No mum , Hazel has got nothing to do with that. Daisy and I were over before I met Hazel. She's my P. A" I explain and she suddenly smiles
"So I'm really going to be a grandma?"
"Yes mother"
"Oh...I'm proud of you son, come here"
She engulfs me in a firm hug and I can't help but wonder how her arms could be this strong at her age
"Thanks mum"
"So when am I meeting her?"
"Um... actually mum, Hazel is a girl of her own ways, I have to discuss it with her first. I hope you don't mind"
"Of course not son, take your time. I'm just happy it's not Daisy who is pregnant. I'm fine with any girl carrying my grandchild. EXCEPT...I said EXCEPT Daisy. She's a bad influence"
"Seriously mum what did Daisy ever do to you?"
"It's more like, what did Daisy NOT ever do to me. She's a pain in my ass"
That makes Craig and I to chuckle. Mum clearly hates Daisy for absolutely no reason. The first day I introduced Daisy to her as my girlfriend, she looked at Daisy straight in the eye and said "I don't like you for my son" and then left for her bedroom. Since then it has never been well between mum and Daisy. You can call it hate at first sight. I just pray she likes Hazel.
"I can't wait to be an uncle"
Craig says excitedly. I know for sure that he's going to be a great uncle to my child. He's going to spoil him with gifts and take him out on his crazy adventures.
The idea of having a child really raises butterflies in my stomach.
Imagine me being called "dad". I can't thank Hazel enough for making me this proud and also for making my brother and mother happy. She's indeed my miracle.
"My next grandchild has to be from you Craig, this issue is not debatable"

The smile on someone's face just faded away. The look on Craig's face is priceless.
What did he think?, That I'll make him an uncle and he won't do same to me?
Impossible. I need me a niece or nephew, pretty soon.
