For alligatorinfestation they didn't ask but they're married to Minnesota and New Jersey so I'm being a nice friend and writing them a one-shot
Minnesota and New Jersey seem like a very unlikely couple but who are are the other states to judge. New Jersey is mean and Minnesota is nice but maybe that makes them the perfect couple. But what to other states don't is that they have another partner, you. The only states that know about you is Michigan, North Dakota, and Rhode Island since Rhode is Jersey's best friend and Michigan and North Dakota are Minnesota's best friends. The other states are going to find out about you today because Sota and Jersey are going to tell them since they invited over to the Statehouse. The other states found out that Minnesota and New Jersey were together when Florida walked into on them making out and ran around and told everyone with Jersey on his tail.
Minnesota is currently sitting on a bean bag in Michigan's room with his two best friends.
"Sota, Y/n is coming over to day, right?" Michigan ask.
"Oh yeah, you betcha." Minnesota responds with a huge smile he misses you a lot, though you do video call all the time it's not the same.
"Finally we get to meet them." North Dakota says.
"I haven't seen them in a month and a half." Minnesota says sadly.
"Aw you miss your other lover?" Michigan teases.
"Yeah." Sota says shyly. Minnesota's phone dings, it's a text from you saying that you would be there in twenty minutes. Sota let's out a soft squeal.
"What?" North Dakota and Michigan ask at the same time.
"Y/n will be here in twenty minutes!" Minnesota squeals and jumps up, "I gotta tell Jersey!" Minnesota runs out of the room and to New Jersey's room. The room is open, Jersey and Rhode Island are sitting on the bed watching a horror movie. Sota runs into the room and jumps onto New Jersey. "Y/n will be here is twenty minutes!"
"Really?" New Jersey asks with a smile.
"Whatcha watching?" Minnesota asks and turns around so that he's sitting with his back again Jersey's chest.
"The Shining." Rhode responds.
"Ope, I don't like horror movies." Minnesota gets up and walks out of the room. Minnesota walks into the kitchen to find DC. He finds DC, Florida, Louisiana, and Wyoming at the island. "Hiya, DC."
"Oh, hey, Minnesota." DC waves,
"I have someone coming over in twenty minutes." Minnesota says.
"Who?" Florida asks.
"My other partner, Y/n."
"You have two?" Louisiana asks.
"Yeah."
"Cool."
"I'm telling everyone!" Florida yells and runs off.
"Okay, you do that." Minnesota says then walks back to Michigan's room.
"So, what are you going to do, no one knows about Y/n?" North Dakota asks when Sota walks into the room.
"Oh they will, Florida is telling everyone."
"Oh?" Michigan says, confused as to how Florida knows.
"I just told DC and Florida was there."
"Oh." Michigan says.
Minnesota sits down on a bean bag, he's starting to get jittery.
"You ok, Sota?" North Dakota asks.
"Oh yeah, I'm excited and I got the jitters." Minnesota responds, he's so happy and looks like he's about to jump off the bean bag and start prancing around.
"You're so happy." North Dakota giggles.
"I am." Minnesota says with a huge smile.
"You look like you're about to jump up and dance." Michigan laughs.
Minnesota jumps to his feet and does a little jig, "I do my lil dancey dance." He laughs then sits back down while his friends laugh with him.
A little while later he gets a text from you says that you'd be there in a few minutes. "They're almost here!" Minnesota squeals and jumps up. North Dakota and Michigan follow him towards the front door. Sota just stands buy the door wait like a dog. A few minutes later there is a knock at the door and Sota can see you through the glass. He opens the door, you jump at him and hug him.
New Jersey walks into the kitchen with Rhode to get more snacks, he spots you talking to Minnesota in the other room.
"Where's Jersey?" You ask.
Minnesota sees New Jersey walk into the room, he goes to say something but Jersey puts his finger to his lips. "I don't know." Minnesota shrugs.
Jersey sneaks behind you and grabs you from behind and lifting your feet a few inches off the ground. "RAH!"
You scream and he puts you down at starts laugh. "DON'T DO THAT YOU ASS!" You yell and hit his chest. He pulls you into a hug and presses his lips to yours.
He pulls away from the kiss then looks over at Minnesota, "Get in here."
Minnesota shuffles over to you two and joins the hug.
