A few days later..
You stood in the rain with Gojo standing at your mother's grave as he brought his arm around you shoulder and the other holding an umbrella over you too
The rain brought a richness to each colour or browns and greens that surrounded you. The grass was glossy, reflecting the light, as soft waves of breeze whizzed by. softly waving in the breeze. The rain brought freshness along with a sense of stillness. It made you feel calmed.
'I cried endlessly when you died mom, but believe me I won't let the tears spoil the smiles that you gave me when you were alive. I promise'.
You reached your hand outside the umbrella and watched as each droplet snaked down you fingers as you brought your hand back down to your side and gave Gojo a nod, letting him know you were ready to go.
"Even though she'd want me to be happy, I still don't understand what I'm supposed to do now", you said to Gojo as you exited the graveyard.
"Tell you what, let's head to hq and see if the boss has any missions for us. Maybe that'll cheer you up", he said assertively as he gave you a thumbs up.
"Sure", you exclaimed as you ran off in front of him.
"We'll make it a race", you shouted as you started to pick up speed.
"You're on princess!", he snickered.
Gojo caught up to you soon enough by jumping onto the buildings that were adjacent to the street you were running on. You spat your tongue out at him and ran faster, making it to hq before him.
"I win!", you yelled as you jumped around with your hands in the air.
"Yeah well that's only because I let you", Gojo pouted.
"You are the biggest sore loser to ever exist", you laughed as you entered the building.
——— "Hey Fuji", you smiled and waved upon entering his office.
"For the love of God y/n, knock before entering".
"But we're friends remember?"
"No. No we're not"
"Course we aren't", you responded, swatting your hand up and down. "We're best friends!"
"Got any missions for us boss?", Gojo inquired while sitting down.
"And please make it interesting", you added.
"There's one available, you can assassinate a family of affluents not too far from here", he offered.
Gojo gave a thumbs up and a nod while you slouched down in your chair. "But i wanted to blow something up", you folded your arms.
"Do whatever you want", Fujita brought his hand to his head.
You jumped out of your chair and made your way out the door. "Let's go Gojo!".
You two walked through the cold streets, not a single person in sight as you basked in a comfortable silence that was upon you two.
"Can i ask you something Gojo", you said breaking the silence.
"Ask away"
You let out a few huffs and grumbles before actually saying what you wanted to say, "a few days ago...why'd you kiss me?", you asked as your cheeks were dusted a light pink. "I mean, did it mean anything?".
"Hmm", he said as he held his chin with his hand while you waited in anticipation for his response.
"What did it mean to you. You're the one who initiated after all", he said softly.
"Why're you getting all sentimental for? I didn't initiate it, you did!", you furrowed your brow in annoyance.
"Oh look we're here!", Gojo clapped his hands together, completely dismissing your whole statement.
"Time to blow stuff up", you exclaimed. "Let me see how this works", you pulled out a small device from your pocket.
"What's that?", gojo tilted his head in curiosity.
"I have no idea. Fuji gave it to me a while back but i never used it and apparently it's supposed to work like a bomb but less messier", you explained as you finally found the trigger button. "Well he didn't give it to me, I just took it but i'm sure he won't mind".
"Give me good show", you whispered as you pushed the button and placed it in front of the mansion all in one swift move before backing away.
Soon enough, the mansion exploded but it wasn't as loud as a normal bomb.
"It's a ten from me!", you exclaimed as you put your thumbs up.
"Meh i've seen flashier", Gojo said shrugging his shoulders.
"It's a ten from me too", you heard a third voice say... but who was it?
"Who-", you turned around to meet a tall figure standing behind you and Gojo.
"Long time no see sis", the man gave a two finger salute.
"Wait what?"
