AUTHORS NOTE; so there's probably a million and one mistakes, but I don't care, you get the gist. Kendall's part is significantly longer than Noelle's but it's all okay, right? right. enjoy. x

Noelle's P.O.V

I woke up on Wednesday thinking I was going to be late to school- but I had actually woke up half an hour early. I threw on my running tights and a compression top and went outside. I ran a few blocks before coming back home, jumping in the shower, and then getting ready for school.

I kept it simple as always; I put on just a pair of jean shorts and a white t-shirt and my torn up converse. I grabbed my camcorder and dslr, shoving them into my case and then grabbing my school bag, I made my way out the door.

This was one of those days where I just remained silent. I met up with Romeo and Piper before class, and not long after Scarlett joined us, bringing along that Australian guy from art history.

I just pretended as if he wasn’t there, and tapped my feet on the pavement, spacing out.

“Pipes, Romeo, this is Jace, the Australian guy.”

“Cheers.” He smiled at them and soon enough they were having a lengthy conversation. Piper even invited him to Santa Cruz with us, telling him I could probably give him a ride. I sneered, and threw my school bag back over my shoulder, standing up and pushing past them, purposely hitting his shoulder with mine.

I heard them call after me but I ignored them and continued to class.

My excitement for Saturday was now gone, and I was irritable. I sat in class waiting for the bell to ring, tapping my pencil on the desk with one hand and rubbing my temple with the other. I was beginning to get a headache.

When Scarlett sat down next to me, she didn’t fail to let me know that I was being a bitch. I shrugged it off until Jace sat down next to her, a look on his face I didn’t quite recognize.

Once class was over, Scarlett left and now there was a space between Jace and I. I hurried to get my stuff into my bag so I could get out of there- hopefully to go home and sleep.

“Hey, wait up.” I heard Jace say behind me and I stopped in my tracks, biting my lip, I turned around to face him.

“What?”

“I won’t go on Saturday if it really bothers you that much- I just…don’t even know why you don’t like me. You don’t even know me.”

“Honestly? I don’t know. I’m in a bad mood, okay? I’ll see you tomorrow.” I told him and then continued to leave the campus.

When it was time for dinner later that night, Piper invited me over only for me to find that Jace was joining us as well. Because I had had a nice 5 hour nap, I was much nicer to him. We even exchanged a few jokes, much to the rest of the groups pleasure.

Scarlett, Jace, and I hung out Thursday and Friday together, and became decently close. Jace wasn’t that bad. He was actually pretty smart, opposite to the impression he gave me when he first walked into the classroom.

He was just down-to-earth and liked to make light of things. He had a lot to say, and was funny.

Saturday morning was exhausting. Finn, Piper, Romeo, and Kendall headed off to the beach way early so they could get us good spots.  I had to stay back to drive Scarlett and Jace. Even though I didn’t have to be ready until 10, I was awake since 7 because I couldn’t go back to sleep.

Scarlett got out of her morning class at nine, leaving her an hour to get ready. By then, Jace had already claimed shotgun so she was stuck in the back with Lily. I don’t think she minded all that much, since she spent the entire car ride ruffling her fur and putting different bandannas around her neck which Lily simply ripped off with her teeth.
