(Y/N) was the secretary of Nick Fury. Everyone assumed that she did the same job as Agent Hill, but Hill was Fury's assistant. All that Hill did was get him coffees and occasionally go on missions with him. (Y/N) did all of Fury's paperwork and replied to all of his emails an answered all of his government calls and show people the way to Fury's office. She had a harder job than Hill, yet Hill got all of the recognition. Everything stayed like that until the day that (Y/N) was told to go down to a lab, where an explosion had happened to check if there were any casualties. No one was there, but the radiation from the chemicals landed her in hospital. When she came out, she thought that everything was ok, until she began to experience weird changes. She would touch the toaster and it would randomly blow up! She would touch her TV and it would blow up! She didn't tell anyone about what was happening, until her first day back at work. The computer hadn't blown up when she had touched it. She'd seemed to stop that from happening. Instead, she was typing as fast as she could, trying to reply to a frantic email from a police man who had said that he saw a woman run down the road faster than some cars. If this was another hero, Fury would have to know. She was typing so fast that she felt her palms begin to heat up from the friction. She thought nothing of it until her desk caught on fire. She shot her hands out in front of her, and water came out of her finger tips, putting the fire out.
"(Y/N), what on Earth was that?" Fury asked, standing in the doorway.
"I-I don't know, Sir"
"Well, how long has it been like that?"
"Since the explosion, Sir."
"I need Banner to look into what the hell was in that explosion."
"Yes, Sir." Hill told him.
"(Y/N), are you ok? Don't worry about the computer."
"I'm so sorry about all of this. Strange things have been happening."
"I think that whatever was in that explosion caused you to gain powers. I'm sure that Miss Maximoff could help you with that."
"Wait, you mean the Avenger? I haven't even spoken to any of the Avengers before. That's Hill's job!"
"Well, with training, I think you would be a great asset to the team. Plus, it would be good for someone to hang out with Agent Romanoff and Miss Maximoff. They are the only women there."
"Wait, you want me to become an Avenger?"
"Only if you're up to it, (Y/N)."
