Kisen lunged at me. I quickly rolled out of the way to the left. When I returned to my feet I jumped at him, my right fist getting ready to punch him. As my fist came near his head he shot an arm out quickly and blocked it. I grabbed the arm he blocked with and used it to fling myself over him, kicking him where I tried to punch in the process. Kisen was knocked back and I jumped at him again. This time he used both arms to protect himself. I grab the base of them and swing around to his back. I shout as I slammed both my fists into the small of his metallic figures back.
He cried out in pain. Turning around quickly he snarled at me. "Not bad!" He raised an arm at me and his hand lit up brightly, I shielded my eyes as a bright light was thrust towards me.
I'm knocked to the ground as the light pierced through me. I scream in my pain and am knocked prone.
"Bet you don't know how to do that!" Kisen shouted before he slammed a clawed hand where my head would have been if I hadn't rolled out of the way.
I shouted out again in defiance and quickly returned to my feet and rush him. The world moved slower as he swiped at me. I jumped off his hand and landed on his head. Calling upon whatever power I had I thrusted my right metallic fist down hoping to break the armor around his skull.
My hand clanged off of it causing no damage. Kisen raised a fist and punched me off. As I fall he caught me.
"Let's try this again." He snarled.
The intensely nauseating feeling returned and I felt as if I wanted to vomit again. This time Kisen gripped my arms with his other hand that was free. It seemed I was caught.
"Stop now." He warned me. "You put up a good fight... it's over now."
My vision over my right eye turned red. There was a sort of tingling feeling but I ignored it. Red color shot forth from my eye and struck Kisen.
He shouted as he fell over again finally releasing me.
"That's it!" He yelled. "We fight in Nilas." Suddenly a great bright light protruded from him and then there was darkness...
I quickly tried to stand. I couldn't see anything. No Kisen, no light, nothing.
From my right came a massive ball of light and I knew I had to dodge it. Without thinking I took a step back and went into a flip. My body cleared the ball of light as it sailed past.
"You're full of surprises you know that?!" Kisen was shouting from somewhere.
"Got plenty more!" I shouted back, my voice sounding metallic and unknown to me. Kisen suddenly appeared in front of me and I ducked as he tried to grab me. I shot up and punched him with my metallic fist in his jaw. He reeled back in pain but not before shooting more of the previous light from his hand.
"All your talk." I said emotionless to him. "You want to take down a master?" I walked towards him. "You can't even take me." A portal looking hole of light appeared in front of me and I jumped over it. As I jumped I stuck my hand up towards Kisen the one that had now been in metallic armor and pulsed crazily when I found him in the building and I shot darkness towards him, enough to pierce even the dark we were currently in. The darkness before reaching him turned bright red and struck him in the arm.
Kisen screamed in pain and stood up. His real arm was visible under the armor. I somehow had pierced it and actually injured him.
"You broke my armor!" He glowed brightly as if he was building up something inside. "I will consume you in the brightest way."
"Then do it." I said as I rushed him. I jumped towards his bright light with my metallic fist gunning for the area where his heart would be. The sharp fingers I now had were claws and I struck them inside his armor and tore at it. His bright light diminished and he fell to the ground on his back. I hadn't managed to rip his heart out but he was no longer protected there.
"You stupid shit!" He yelled at me.
"Been called that before." I responded. "Anything original."
Kisen just laid there looking up at me. For some reason he decided to shed his armor and now I was looking at who I thought had been Joss.
"Who are you?" He finally asked me. I stood in front of him standing confident and still glaring at him. My red vision was heating up and I felt it would shoot forth more red power if I willed it to.
"I am the Un-named." I said to him without emotion once again.
"Everyone has a name." He retorted. "What is yours?" He stopped. "Didn't you say it was Caden."
The name jarred my senses and I stopped glaring at him. I took a step back and kneeled feeling exhausted. I looked up at him. He hadn't decided to attack me again.
"Kisen..." I breathed out. "Please don't make me do that again."
He looked at me quizzically. The only way I could tell was because he still glowed, illuminating both of us. "You seem so wimpy now, almost as if pleading for your life."
"That's not me." I wheezed out. "I don't want to fight." I found this to be true and in a way I was pleading for both of our lives. "Believe me, you do not want what happened to a man earlier today to happen to you." I tried to stand again but found I couldn't. "Why did you try to kill me?"
He laughed. "You're a dark one." He walked towards me leaned down and put a hand on my shoulder. "Do you know nothing?"
"I did nothing to you!" I shouted at him. "Yet you tried to consume me and now you've taken me to this Nilas place again!"
He scratches his chin. "Merimidon is not treating you well I can tell. Let me guess..." He smiled. "She sent you to find me, not fight me?"
I was taken aback a little. "Yes, I believe she didn't think I would survive."
"Ah, but look at you now Caden." His voice sounded happy. "Able to hold your own." He took his hand off my shoulder. "I'll make you a counter request. Tell Merimidon you did not find me. She might think you are lying but she might not. Either way all you have to do is to tell her you couldn't find me."
"Why should I do that?" I asked him.
"Because if you do..." he had that wide smile again. "I will stop trying to consume you for now. I have interest in you boy and I'd like to see how you turn out."
Knowing full well I did not want to fight him again I simply nodded. "Since I know neither of you truly, I'm staying out of it." I grimaced. "This seems the best way."
Kisen kept smiling. "Splendid." He reached a hand out to help me out which I took. "I suggest you return back from wherever you came."
I looked at him blankly. "I don't know how."
"Oh moving through Nilas is quite simple, you simply think where you want to go and then choose a direction to walk." His smile stopped. "You'll find your way, I'm sure of it." He then bowed. "Pleasure meeting you Caden." He then was gone. In a flash of bright light which I had to shield my eyes from he no longer was in front of me.
I took a couple of minutes to relax, then started thinking of home. I chose a direction and walked, kept walking until
I saw a bit of light. I started running towards it. I slammed into a wall all of a sudden just a bare wooden wall and I fell to the ground rubbing my head.
I heard a rush of footsteps.
"Caden?" Someone asked out loud in a voice I quickly recognized. "What are you doing in my house?"
I looked up at the talking figure.
"Cam?"
