Y/N's POV

Gasping for air. My eyes shot open to reveal nothing but darkness. My heart was beating so fast it felt like it was going to rip out of my chest. Wherever I was, it was cold and quiet apart from the air shooting past me as I travelled what felt like upwards. Every so often a luminous white light filled what appeared to be a cage type box with smaller brown boxes in the corners.

I lowered myself onto my hands and knees to try become more aware of my surroundings. My hands latched onto the thin metal bars beneath me and trailed up and along the four wired walls around me. I stretched my arms up in an attempt to feel out a top to the cage but it was out of grasp.

The cage suddenly jolted and my knees buckled below me, throwing me onto the floor. The box rattled in reaction which sent vibrations up my arms. I crashed my back into the metal wired wall and tried to control my breaths. Tears began pooling at the bottom of my eyes and heat ran to my hands as a light layer of sweat seeped between the cracks in my skin. I squeezed my eyes tight and let my tears slowly trickle down my burning cheeks. Questions flew around my head, Where am I?, Who am I? All I knew is that I was a girl. Nothing else. Why couldn't I remember anything else! I wanted to scream for help, for someone to get me out and reassure me everything was fine, but I knew no one would hear me. I couldn't just sit here and let my thoughts consume me. I won't let myself.

Just to my luck, the box came to a violent halt. I picked myself up onto my feet awaiting the next move. It was quiet at first but I heard light footsteps and voices approaching closer and closer. Suddenly, the square top above me opened up and a painfully bright light poured into the box. I dropped my head to look at the floor and flung my hand up to shield my face. There was a thud and the box began swaying a little.

"Welcome Greenbean" a strong voice greeted me, sounding almost irritated. "Greenie needs a haircut already he's making himself look like a shucking girl" another voice spoke, more raspy than the last. I slowly lowered my hand and turned my head toward the beaming blaze to allow my eyes to adjust, it revealed a group of around 30 boys crowded around the top of the box, standing, staring at me. "It is a shucking girl" someone called out. There was an explosion of whispers that were quickly interrupted by a slim blonde boy with an accented voice, "Well don't just stand there Gally help the Greenie out!".

The broad shouldered boy who I assumed was Gally pulled me out the box. Even though I could feel everyone's eyes still on me, I looked up to see what faced me. There were four tall solid stone walls enclosing a grassy squared area. What appeared to be makeshift huts scattered everywhere and some small forestry areas in the corners. One of the walls had a wide gap in the middle of it stretching from top to bottom which was strange.

I took my glance back to the boy who helped me out the box, "Where am I?, What is this place?", I said barely above a whisper. "Ah she does speak!" the raspy voiced boy from before shouted. "Shut it Zart" spoke the accented boy. "This Greenie, is your new home. We call it The Glade, and i'm Gally nice to meet you".
