The windows of the library were open, cold winter air blowing through the giant hall. Many students studied for their last test before their winter break began. Sakusa, who studied art, had his last one tomorrow and since he wanted a good grade to actually enjoy the break without worrying about that sheet of paper, he planned on studying until the college library closed. He sat at one of the tables which was directly connected to a massive, wooden bookshelf.
They had those with open compartments so that you could look into the row next to you. He needed to glance over some dusty books but it was possible. Those were standing in rows neatly next to each other. The tables found their places rather between two shelves, connected with one or standing in that part of the library without any. The black haired always sat at one which was near the wooden storage spaces, simply because it was the furthest he could get away from all those nasty people.
He wrote something about impressionism on his sheet as he noticed someone sitting down at the table on the other side of the shelf. He didn't see who it was, but to be honest, Sakusa could care less. The only thing he did was to check if his mask still sat correctly on his nose.
After a few minutes the art student got up, he needed one of the history books. Lucky that they were in his row already. He looked the books up and down hoping he'll find the one he needed. His fingers, wrapped around a pair of gloves, stroked over the back of an older looking book. Maybe that's what he needed. He read the title after he got it out of the shelf. Nope, he didn't need one about Napoleon, even tho he'd like that topic.
"Need that one?" Kiyomi winced, he didn't expect a voice coming out of nowhere. A voice which sounded way too familiar.
Sakusa looked into the direction of where the shelf ended just to see his beloved boyfriend standing there.
"What are you doing here 'tsumu?" Sakusa walked towards Miya, inspecting the thick book he got in his hands. "And why do you got the book I need?"
"I guess I'm doin' the exact same thing here as you do Omi-kun. Ya ain't the only one who's havin' a test tomorrow. Besides, I know yer subjects and the topic ya got in history lately."
"I thought the history books where in this aisle."
"Just till the T. This is mainly world history too." The blond pointed to the little notes sticked to the shelf. How could he not have seen that?
"So you're the one sitting on the other side?" Sakusa took the book which had information about van Gogh. History of art.
Miya nodded, rocking back and forth on his heels. Sakusa walked to his seat again to place the book next to his notes. The blond must've followed as he felt Miya gripping his hand. Soon their fingers were intertwined as they stood in the quiet and empty aisle. The fabric of Sakusa's gloves gently rubbing against Atsumu's hand.
Atsumu could feel the tension building up in Kiyomi's body, the strength coming from the other's hand tightened the grip.
"Hey, relax there ain't someone else around." Atsumu swung their hands back and forth. He turned a bit so that he faced his boyfriend.
