No im not gonna be fine. It's one thing starting a new school but I was joining in the middle of the year.
Everyone already at their friend groups and knew where they sat at lunch but I trusted Lily

LUNCH:
Ok so update I lost Lily I went the office to get a locker and I lost her. How does that even happend Im the one who should be lost. Unless she lost me, making me be lost. Ugh ok whatever just go to lunch. I was a little late cause the office needed to make sure I knew my code so I wouldn't get locked out but I just wrote it on my arm.
The lunch room was full of people. I could make out all the social groups and it was obvious who was "popular" and who wasn't. Lily and Caleb were sitting at the only table that was mixed with girls and boys. I thought that was normal. Uh I guess not?
"Ok guys this is Maddie she just moved here from the states she my neighbor. Mrs. Johnsons kid"
All the kids started asking me questions that I didn't know how to answer.
"No way so whats it like living with a celebrity?!"
"Ive only been here for a few days but let me say its werid asf they blast taylor swift every morning."
Lily and Caleb started laughing
"Ugh You guys hear it too don't you"
I started laughing with them. A group of boys came up to us and ask me for my number. I politly declines knowing that they were the same boys Lily warned me about in math earlier after he kept throwing worksheets at the smart kids so they would do their work for them. Ugh boys...
They are so annoying!
I felt eyes on me and turned to see caleb
"Can I at least get your number?"
"Ugh fine!!"
He handed me his phone and put my number in.
"Thank you love" love? oh-
"Text me ok? I gotta go"
I hugged him and before I could even leave the lunch room I get a text.

I look back to see him smiling, I jokingly blew him a kiss and went to class.

After school Caleb texted me to meet him and Lily in the libary so he could check out a book for english and then drive me home.
"Pride and Prejudice?"
"That book is great I've read it about a million times"
"Ugh if you say so.. have you seen Lily she was supposed to meet us here?"
"Uh no I havent seen her, should we wait?"
The Libary door open loudly
"SHHHH"
"Oh right sorry Mrs.Lane"
" LILY where were you?!"
" Saving your asses, you gotta hear this."
After hearing Lily ramble on about her knew boy problems something she said caught my attention.
" Did you say that people think we are dating?"
" Oh yeah something about the cafeteria I thought you guys knew? WAIT DID YOU GUYS NOT KNOW? thats why I took so long. DUH!!"
"What happened?!"
"Well everyone said that you two were dating after Mads blew you a kiss in the cafe and after Calebs lab partner saw the text Caleb sent to contact "mads" with a bunch of hearts and I qoute "loml" next to it while taking a video of your project oh and your home screen is her or at least it looked like her"
"THATS MY CONTACTT AWWW CALEB"
"Shut up Mads"
I playfully slapped his shoulder and got up
"Come we should get going I have things to do"
They laughed
" Yeah OKAY MADS SURE like you have plans"
"For your informations I am busy with a lot of stuff my calender is booked no time for you too so come on"
Lily and Caleb smirked as they gathered their things. I could tell they were holding in a laugh.
