I slide acrosss the island and started to fall over
"Got you" Louis dropped the plate on the floor and it shattered. We were frozen for a few seconds with me in his arms.
"LOU! The plate!"
He held my waist making me stand up straight.
Louis quickly picked up the pieces found some tape.
"Turn around!"
I turned around.. wtf is he doing

"LOU?!"
I looked at him confused
back at the plate
then back at him
He looked so innocent, I couldnt be mad
We made eye contact and started laughing
"HAHA Nai im sorry I didn't want you to fall.. It was you.. or the plate!" I place my hand on his shoulder
"Its okay Lou! I have other plates"
He looked at me with relief "Come on lets watch a movie"
Louis sat on the couch while I grabbed a few blankets from my room.
"What movie do you wanna watch!"
"Umm anything is fine you pick" I put on a pair of fuzzy socks and walked back out.
"Lou? is this movie scary..."
"Uhhh.. maybe" he shrugged
"LOU! you know I hate them!"
"I know but im here to protect you" I sigh and sit next to him on the couch.
I take the blankets and lay them over the too of us, I snuggled up next to Lou. He smelled really good I never really noticed before.
Louis pov
As we watch the movie every few minutes Nai would flinch and hide her face in my chest. It was cute when she did that.
"Is it over?!"
"yes nai its over you can look now"
it wasnt..
"LOUIS!" she wrapped her arms around me
"AHHA SORRY I DIDNT KNOW" ...... i did😁
About half way into the movie she fell alseep, she so peaceful, I stopped the movie and slowly picked her up and moved her to her bed.
"Lou?" she wiped her eyes
"Oh sorry! I didnt mean to wake you I was just trying to move you to your bed"
"I was comfortableee" She looked sad but annoyed
"We can go back?"
"No no its okay"
"Ok well goodnight im gonna go home okay?"
"Okay nightt....Wait?! Do you wanna stay? We are just see eachother tomorrow morning anyway"
"Oh yeah okay sure"
She opened the covers and I lay next to her. She smelled really good, I never really noticed.
She moved closer and put her arm across my chest and nestled her head into my neck. I moved over on my side facing her I placed my hand on her cheek and stared into her eyes.
I moved my hand to the back of her head and played with her hair. She blushed but I acted like I didnt notice.
We lay in the dark.
It was silent but not like the awkward silent with tension ya know it was just silent. She feel asleep on my chest again, I examined her face wow. She is cute when she sleeps.
I lay awake for a good hour thinking about me and nai's friendship.
I start to think about the tiktok room posts and how the media thinks we are dating. Me and Nai always laughed about but I guess I never really thought about what we were. I mean I think shes beautiful but she just my friend.
I think back to restaurant and how I almost told her I liked her. Which i dont....👀👀
