Here I was with the girl of my dreams dancing in the rain. After the airport I kinda just expected to never see her again but man am I glad I did. From the few days Ive know her Ive never been happier. She made me feel like nothing else mattered besides us. It was us against the world.

  "Hey Mads?"

  "Yeah?"

I looked down at her, she had such nice eyes they were brown but they provided me a sense of comfort.
We stopped dancing and we just stood there in the rain enjoying each others company. I moved closer.

  "Thank you for getting me out of the car"

   She was looking at her shoes then looked back up at me.

   "Well I wasn't gonna let you be all by yourselff"

    She put her hand on my shoulder then quickly moved it away. I cupped her face.

  "I really like hanging out with you"

"Yeah I mean who wouldn't" She laughed

I let go of her face and moved my hands to her shoulders and hugged her.

"Caleb?"

"Yeah?"

"Why did you sit next to me on the plane? I know it wasn't your seat."

I froze

"What are you talking about"

I knew exactly what she was talking about after she helped me with that girl and I saw her all alone on the plane I just felt like I needed repay her. Even though I didnt have to I just felt I should.

"Oh your were alone and I wanted to keep you company, I mean you did sleep most of the trip but I thought you might have wanted someone to talk to."

"Thats it?"

I felt as though she was hiding something from me like she wanted to say something but was unsure.

  "Yeah thats it?"

No it wasn't I like her I mean look at her who wouldn't shes perfect.

  "Oh okay.. Well we should get going"

I sigh and I put my arm around her and we make our way back to the car.
I stop.

  "Mads?"

  "Yeah?" Her eyes light up.

  "You are a great person, I really do like spending time with you, like seriously Ive havent had this much fun in a while"

   The rain started coming down harder, I could tell she was cold.

  "Here" I took my jacket off and handed it to her, and hugged her again. She backed up a bit and put her hands around my the back of my neck

"Thank you"

Thunder starter getting louder and the sky started flashing. I stared into her eyes. wow. Her hair was covering her face so I pushed it behind her ear. It brought me closer to her face. I never noticed her freckles till now.

  "You look really good in the rain"

I felt my face get warm and I laugh
   "Just in the rain?" I jokingly sigh

   "Im afriad so" she laughed "Well I guess your okay."

    "Im just okay?"

    " Yeah.. just okay"

    I smile, our faces were a inch apart
I want to kiss her but I dont wanna ruin our friend ship if she doesnt feel the same. I leaned in then suddenly I tree branch came down.

     " LOOK OUT"

I grabbed maddie and pulled her with me to the grass. We tumbled a bit but there I was on top of her I looked at her lips then back at her eyes she did the same.
