We end up staying in Winter Bay with Luna for a while.

I don't mind, but there's this weird feeling .... I can't explain it very well, but it is similar to a pulling sensation that tugs at my consciousness.

It is only when later on that night, as we use our magick to mend her house, that I remember that Felix felt it too. I turn to him.

"Did you sense that weird feeling too?" I ask.

He nods, and says, "Yeah, I felt it."

"Okay, well, what did it feel like to you?" I ask.

"A pulling sensation," he says.

"What are you guys talking about?" Wendy asks us.

"There's something calling to us, to me and Felix, like ... Something far away."

"Like what, exactly?"

"I don't know," I admit, shaking my head. "But whatever it is, it is very powerful and very desperate for our help."

"I think it would be best if you girls, and Felix, too, went and stayed at someone else's home," Luna says. "I ... uh, don't think you'll all fit in my tiny house."

"Okay, well, if you need us, just let us know," Wendy replies.

So, the five of us head further inland, away from Luna's weird house and away from that odd feeling. The further we get from her home, the more the sense of forgetting something fills my mind. I shake my head, in a failed attempt to clear it, when I hear someone walk closer and feel them put their hand on my shoulder reassuringly.

I turn around, but no one is directly behind me. No one is touching my shoulder, I'm pretty sure it was just a figment of my imagination.

We then reach the next house, which Wendy said was actually once her friend's house, but he moved out a while ago, so we should be okay and safe here. For now.

The house is somewhat bigger than the home Luna has, and the floors are made of stone, the walls are brick, and the ceiling is high up, with rafters hanging down from them, where I can see some winged Faeries would fly around it.

It is not a decorated house, but after a spell from Amora, the house is furnished and brighter than before.

The bedroom where Peri and I will sleep is next to where Felix will be, and across from where Wendy and Amora will be. The room itself is painted a dull blue, with two smallish beds sitting here and there in the room. I pick the one away from the window a bit, and Peri takes up her position in the bed closer to the window, as she's always talking about wanting to sleep near the window for some reason.

Maybe it is because she is an ice Faerie. But honestly, I don't know. I still don't know my sister as well as I should. And I really try to not let it bother me, but it does nonetheless. When this is all over, if this is ever over, I want to get to know her.

"Are you okay?" she asks me.

"Yeah, just lost in my thoughts," I reply.

She nods and sits down on her bed. I sit on mine and lean back, sighing deeply. Peri rolls over and lays down in her bed, and falls deep into sleep. Soon enough, so do I.
