"Here we go. Home sweet home." Perrie said as she carried Jade up to her apartment and opening the door.

"Yay." The brunette said in a monotone voice.

"If you don't want to be here I can take you to mine."

"No!" The small geordie said sharply as the blonde placed her on one foot still supporting her side.

"Yeah actually I don't think that's a good idea, Zayn might be there and that's just awkward." The brunette rolled her eyes at the mention of her ex.

"Wow, we've only been here three minutes and you've already mentioned Zayn. I'm impressed." Jade sarcastically remarked.

"I'm sorry Jade. I was just-"

"No I'm sorry, I'm just being bitter."

"It's understandable" The younger girl settled Jade on the sofa, positioning her leg so it was elevated and comfortable. "Tea?"

"Yes please. Hospital tea is horrible."

"You were asleep for the majority of the time we were in there. I was the one that kept getting handed teas and I didn't want to be impolite and tell the nurse I didn't like them." The blonde went to walk off towards the kitchen.

"Am I like tea?" A quiet voice asked.

"What?" The taller girl spun around to face Jade.

"Am I like the hospital tea? You don't really like me and you're just being polite by telling me that you do."

"That is quite possibly one of the weirdest and most inaccurate things I have ever heard you compare yourself to." The younger geordie sat down on the sofa, covering the tanned girl's hand with her own. The brunette looked down at their hands before she made eye contact with the blue eyes. "Stop being silly." The blonde said in a soothing voice, thumb running over her knuckles. "Jade, you know full well if I don't like somebody they know about it. I'm not going to lead you on and ditch you, I promise."

"I just, I can't help feeling that I'm not good enough for you and that you're going to go back to Zayn." The brunette looked back down at their hands and Perrie carefully threaded her fingers through Jade's.

"Zayn was cheating on me."

"He was before and you stayed with him."

"He denied it before and I was stupid enough to believe him, but this time he admitted it. He admitted that he had fallen in love with someone else."

"His loss." The small geordie mumbled.

"What's his loss is your gain...that is, if you want it to be." The blonde bit her lip. The older girl's eyes switched between their hands to the blue eyes and back again.
