I Got A Heart, I Broke It Though,
Wait, Was It I Who Broke It Or Was It You?
Was It I Who Only Wanted To Love You Forever, Or Was It You Who Rejected My Offer.
Well Whatever, It's Broken Now.
I Got To Have It Fixed But How?
It's Been So Long Since You Hurt Me,
You Look So Happy While I'm Still In Misery.
I Tried Wine, Even Finding Love In The Wrong Places;
But All Of These Turned Out To Be Mere Plasters Unable To Hold My Heart's Broken Pieces.
I Keep Bleeding And I Feel Like Dying,
In My Sorrow I'm Drowning, Silent Tears Are Flooding.
Then A friend Told Me To Try God,
And Boy Did I Laugh So Hard.
How Can God Fix My Heart When He Can't Even Keep It From Being Shattered This Bad?
That's What I Said To Myself Too--My Friend Replied,
But Nothing I Do Worked So Giving It To God I Tried.
"And Did God Fix The Broken Pieces?", I Ask;
"No, God Did Better Than That Easy Task."
"And What Can Be Better Than Fixing A Broken Heart?", I Chided;
She Just Smiled And While Hopping Away Merrily,
"Getting A New Heart!", She Shouted.
A/N: Maybe you're wondering how can you mend a broken heart? The answer is you don't because you can't.
