Arranged Marriage

         Maddie's P.O.V
        I was walking home from school because my dad wouldn't pick me up. It's okay though, it's only a 15 minute walk. Lexi was blabbing to everyone about the concert on Saturday. I can't believe that she told everyone that Calum gave me a kiss on the cheek. I don't think she told anyone that Luke gave her a kiss on the cheek. I got home and I walked in. Skyler was sitting on the couch with his mum and dad.
"Maddie can we talk to you?" Dad asked
"I have homework to do." I said
"Sit on the couch now." Dad said
"Fine." I said
        I was getting pissed at my dad. I pulled out my phone and started texting Lexi. I locked my phone after I sent the text and my dad took my phone. I don't care at this point anymore.
"Maddie, you're being put in a marriage with Skyler." Dad said
"What?!" I yelled/asked confused
"We've talked out the details with Skyler and his parents and you guys are going to be getting married." Dad said
"Fuck no!" I yelled
"Don't talk to me like that." Dad said
"Skyler knows that I hate him!" I yelled
        I got up and grabbed my phone out of my dad's hand. I ran into my room and locked the door. I packed a bag grabbed  my school bag and went out the window. Lexi's house was a 5 minute walk so I walked over there. I knocked on the door. Lexi's dad answered the door.
"Can I come in?" I asked
"Yes of course. Are you okay?" He asked
"Yeah." I said
I ran up to Lexi's room. I walked in.
"Whoa, knock. Oh it's just you." Lexi said
She was Skyping with her mum. Her mum's in Washington D.C for a business trip.
"Hey Mrs. Copeland." I said
"Hey Maddie." Mrs. Copeland said
"Are you okay Maddie?" Lexi asked
"Yeah. My dad's putting me in an arranged marriage." I said
"Oh." Lexi and Mrs. Copeland said at the same time
        I started texting Luke, considering he was still in town because they're going to be doing another concert, I believe.
"Luke's on his way to pick me up." I said
"Where are you going?" Mrs. Copeland asked
"When Uncle Luke goes back home to Australia he's taking me back with him." I said
Lexi stopped Skyping with her mum. She called her mum instead.
"Hello?" Lexi asked
"We stopped because I wanted to ask you if I could go home to Australia with Maddie." Lexi said
        I didn't know what Mrs. Copeland said but Lexi ran out of the room. After she ran out she came back up and started packing clothes.
"Lexi you know I'm only going home to Australia is to get away from my dad, you do know that right?" I asked
"Yeah, I do know that. But you're not going without me."  Lexi said
"Okay." I said
        I don't know how long it was before Luke got to Lexi's but when he did Calum kept looking at me.
