The next day we had an important meeting, so we all went to the lobby and met there.
It had to be something important if I had to be there as well. I mean... I'm not an Avenger. But well. I also went down to the lobby.

When almost everyone was there, we were just waiting for Thor and Mr. Fury. Thor should be back from Asgard soon. I wasn't sure about Mr. Fury, after all, I didn't know the man yet.

The elevator door opened and out stepped a dark-skinned man with an eye patch. That would have to be Mr. Fury. Not two minutes later, there was a flash of lightning and a blond man in armor was standing on the terrace. Thor also found his way here.

Now we were all together. I leaned against the counter and crossed my arms in front of my chest until finally my dad spoke up.

"Thor, you rounded us up? What's the reason?" He asked and then walked around the counter, grabbed a glass and a bottle of wiskey and poured himself some.

Thor put down his hammer and then took a couple of steps forward so that everyone could see him. "It's something very important. It's about Loki" he began, earning a few shocked faces.

"Did that son of a bitch break out?" Clint asked angrily.

"No no" Thor waved it off laughing "my father won't leave him in the cell in Asgard. He said it wasn't punishment enough for him. He should serve his sentence here on Midgard."

"What a stupid idea" Clint grumbled to himself, but in a way that everyone could hear.

"Well, we have a cell for him," my dad threw in, sipping from his glass.

Thor looked around again until he began to speak "Father took away his powers. He's like a human to be exact..."

"Are you saying he should be free to run around? He can still do something" my dad interrupted him.

Thor sighed "if they would let me finish.... Well he should still be kept safe."

"Should we just put him in the cage and go?" Natasha then asked.

"Well it would be good if someone would stop by, even for a moment." Apparently Thor expects someone to volunteer. "Would someone take that?" He then finally asked.

"Actually, anyone can drop by, there's no need for a fixed order as to who should do it." I also finally said something.

"You can talk, can't you?" Joked Thor.

"Of course I can." I laughed then.

"Well.... To be honest Juli is right, but we don't always have the time and then you'd always have to coordinate whose turn it is next. I mean what about when we are on mission?" Steve said.

There was a nodding of the head at Machen, but at Clint I saw that he was completely against it. No wonder. I heard that Loki was in his head and had him under control.

"In my opinion Steve is right" Bruce then interjected and looked at me innocently" nothing against you" I then had to smile.

"Cap is right" dad put his arm around me. I know now what could come. 'But I don't think your opinion is bad either'. "It should be done by someone who doesn't go on missions. Mr. Fury?" Dad looked at Mr. Fury at that and gulped down the last of the liquid.

"Mr. Stark? You know I have other things to keep an eye on," Mr. Fury said calmly.

"Especially with that one," Dad provoked him. That was the way he was. I had to stifle my grin after that statement.

"How about you July" I heard Thor's voice.

I looked at him questioningly and then quickly said "I'm not an Avenger that I have to watch your prisoners."

"That's exactly why..." grinned Thor at me. What was wrong with him. Thor was one of my best friends, which is why I got along with him so well. I tilted my head and then had to think after all, of the last encounter with Loki.

"Wow wow wow. Are you trying to force a task on my daughter of all people without asking me if it's okay?" And pointed his index finger at his chest and looked over at Thor indignantly. I could tell this was an act.

"Well ... is it okay then that they ..." and was interrupted again by my dad.

"Naaa ... Sure she can do that. She's a Stark, after all." And waved his hand away.

"But ... You know what happened last time." I asked, a bit afraid. I tried to hide my fear as best I could, but I didn't always succeed.

"He has no powers," Thor said calmly.

"And he sits in the cage that is as good as safe" my father added.

"I don't know..." I was already a bit doubtful about it. I mean, how am I going to face him? He will surely remind me, if he still remembers me. I shook off my father's arm from my shoulder and went towards the window. All eyes followed me. I stopped at the window.

I must have been so lost in thought that I didn't notice Bruce telling them to give me time to think, and so everyone went back to their work.

I felt a hand on my shoulder. Abruptly I looked in Thor's direction. He smiled at me and I looked out the window again. I held my necklace with one hand and supported the other on my elbow. Inside the necklace was a picture of my birth mother, which I still carried with me.

"Well?" He finally asked.

I then looked to the floor, still not knowing what to do.

"You're well protected too. He won't hurt you and if he does, I'll come over personally and kick him in his very ass." And smiled at me encouragingly. I had to grin and then hugged him.

"That mean you'll do it?" To which I just nodded. I had to try not to cry, because I was already afraid to do that. Slowly we broke away from each other.

"You can do it!" He cheered me up "the others will also take care that nothing happens to you."

Thor was really a great arse.

"When will he come?" I asked him.

"I think tomorrow. At first we had to arrange this, but now we know for sure that he can come here."

"Thor...?" I stopped him before he went to the terrace. He turned around." Yes?"

Now I clearly had to start crying. "I... I'm scared" I said a little quieter. He nodded and came towards me and took me again in a hug and comforted me.

After a while we disengaged and he took a strand that was hanging in my face and put it behind my ear. Then we smiled at each other and he then went out and called to Heimdall. It then also began to flash and then he disappeared. I then turned around and went to the elevator and then went up to my floor.

At the top I went to brush my teeth, changed my clothes and then went straight to sleep.
