After a few hours of sleep, I also left my bed. I went to the bathroom and performed my morning routine. Wash face, brush teeth, shower and get dressed. Just like every day. Almost. Showered every other day. At least the hair is washed every other day.
I left my floor and went to Dad's floor. Breakfast was already waiting for me there. I sat down across from Pepper. Tony came to the table with a plate full of pancakes.
"I hope Pepper made those" and pointed to the pancakes.
"Yes she did" and after not too much thought, he realized why I hoped so.
"Hey" and nudged me slightly offended.
"Tony, we all know what happened last time you tried to cook something." Joined Pepper in the conversation.
"No not everyone knows. At least not me." And pointed at me. Pepper put a pancake on each of their plates.
"He almost set the tower on fire. I was trying to cook noodles and told him to put a pot of water on the stove." Grinned Pepper in amusement.
"I don't quite understand." And looked questioningly at Pepper. Tony was a little annoyed by this talk and rolled his eyes.
"Well the pot place it on ... but without pouring water." Laughed Pepper now.
"And the fire?" I asked.
"So it is enough! I was young and inexperienced. That's all." Interjected Dad.
"Honey, that was a month ago." She grinned and again turning to me "you know Tony. Anything is possible with him" and laughed out loud.
I had to start grinning hard.
"Well I like the excuse of 'the young and inexperienced'" and looked at him amused.
The elevator door opened. Steve and Bruce walked in. The smell of the pancakes must have lured them in.
"Pancakes? Really now? Do you guys always have to do everything the sneaky way?" Steve asked us.
"If it was sneaky, you wouldn't be here, Captain Igloo." Countered my dad.
"Are you guys hungry? What a stupid question. Come sit down boys." Pepper stood up and brought a couple more plates.
"Thanks ma'm." Steve thanked him.
Now the two boys also joined us and we ate all the pancakes away.

I got off the elevator and walked up to Loki. He stood with his hands clasped behind his back and acknowledged me with a look.
"Hi," I greeted him. He just nodded. How rude. "Aren't you going to say hello" I asked him a little nicely. "I mean I can be different" I started to be annoying again. He sighed. Great. This is going to be fun.
"Why you?" He asked suddenly. I didn't quite understand him. Can you please speak in sentences. No? All right.
"What do you mean?" I asked him.
"Why do they send you here to me? Aren't they afraid I might hurt you?" He explained his question. That's better. Why not like this.
"Because I'm not an Avenger and I don't need to be on any mission." I answered curtly.
"Then shouldn't it be even more dangerous for you?"
"You're inside the cell. Even a little kid can take care of you without worrying" I provoked him. At that, I also realize that he didn't like being called harmless behind the cell.
