Chapter 5: New family

Sora's POV:

mom?...

suddenly, I woke up again, light shining in my eyes. I narrowed my eyes again because of the brightness, it was almost the same when I last woke up. But except of Max facing me, it was Lin

my eyes widen with him in sight "Lin!" I said as I immediately hug him tight in my arms, hope his not choking...   

"Sora! your awake!" I heard Max shout to me as he runs to me and hug me

why is he hugging me?

he lets go of me and suddenly blushes, and looks away "sorry..." He apologized and just kept looking at the side, while I just look at him confusingly.

"aw!" Lin barked (kind of), and I immediately looked back at him as I forgot what I was supposed to be doing. And I hugged him again, I miss him even though I just fell asleep.

"Aw dear, your awake!" I heard Max's mom yell as she saw that I was already awake, runs up to me and also hugs me, but she hugged me tighter. I suddenly felt bad for hugging Lin.

"dear, do you feel alright? do you still feel sick? where does it hurt?" Max's mom said with clear worry in her tone, why do I feel like Deja vu?

"I'm... fine..." I whispered, until I started coughing. My throat is kinda sore "...w-water..." I said between my coughs "ok dear. Max! Get some water!" I heard Max's mom shout as I hear the door open and close.

I stopped coughing and just closed my teary eyes from coughing, and started to relax my breathing and my body. 

Max's mom sits down beside me on the bed and embraced me with both of her arms around my shoulders, as she pulls me into her chest, comforting me "are you sure your fine? you were crying when you were asleep" Max's mom said while switching her other hand to my head, slowly rubbing it.

because of what she said, I was curious "how long... was I... asleep?" I whispered enough for her to hear "well dear, you were asleep for almost 2 days. At your first night when I was looking after you, you were crying... did you dreamt of something?" Max's mom answered and asked

"...mom..." I replied in a whisper, but I didn't say it loud enough because I don't want her to her it, but it seems she heard me "I see..." she said as she pulls me to her much more closer that I can already hear her heart beat. It was calming...

"name..." I whispered again "my name?" Max's mom asked wondering what I meant. I nodded in reply "its Hilda, but you can just call me... mom!" she said in a happy tone, with a smile on her face.

I was stunned, I couldn't help but just smile back...

"But... Were not related... And-" before I finished my sentence she immediately interrupted me "Nonsense! I will gladly adopt you in our family! So from now on, you'll call me mom!" She said with a smile.

(A/N: you know what, from now on, were doing 3rd person! I know, I know. I'm very sorry for always changing the POVs, but please just bear with me. And if I finish this book, I'll just edit the first chapters into 3rd persons so the story can move smoothly, sorry for bothering😫)

3rd POV:

      Hilda said all those words with a smile, as she really wants to add Sora in the family. She really found Sora, interesting. And also pitiful, she found out by the way Sora moves and speaks is that shes a little bit hesitant. But even Sora didn't notice the way she behaves, her body was already like that and it was used to it. As if afraid that someone might see what she's doing and arrest her for it.
