I followed the security guard back to his office. He told me to have a seat on this bench that was in the there so I did as he said. He took a seat on his computer chair and then got on his computer. After a while he looked at me.

Security: How old are you miss Andrea

Me: Im 18

The security shook his head so I knew that wasnt a good sign.

Security: Do you know how much trouble you're possibly in

Me: No sir I don't

Security: Do you have a parent we can reach?

Me: Yeah my mom is at home

Security: Well im going to need her number so she can come up here and know the situation.

I sighed and shook my head but I gave him the number. Once he dialed it and got a hold of her my heart stopped a little. I knew my mom would flip but im sure that she would understand that this was some kind of mistake. The security talked to her for a good 10 minutes and then they hung up. I just buried my face in my hands and thought to myself who in there right mind would slip diamonds into bag. I started to think back to all the people that were in the store and who I was around. I was so shook up at the moment that I couldnt even think straight. After about 10 minutes I heard someone walk into the office. I looked up and seen my mom standing in his door way. She had a worried and pissed look on her face. The security man gestured for her to have a seat so she came and sat next to me.

Mom: Andrea what the hell is goin on? You up here stealing?!

Me: Mom im telling you this is a huge misunderstanding.  I didnt do anything.

Mom: So whats this I hear about diamonds bein in your bag?! Unpaid for!

Me: I don't know how they got in there mom!

My mom looked at me with a serious face and then faced the security guard.

Mom: Sir I know you guys found the diamonds in my daughter's bag but I know my daughter and shes never stolen anything a day in her life so I highly doubt she would steal some diamonds...by the way how much are those diamonds?

Security: Well ma'am the diamonds were in her bag and since our cameras are down the only evidence we have is that they were in her bag. Ohh there worth 700 thousand dollars

Mom: 700 thousand dollars?!! Jesus.... and couldnt someone have snuck them into her bag or something

Me: Thats exactly what someone did

Security: Thats possible but we have no proof of that

Me: And you have no proof that I took that

Security: Actually we do young lady. It was in your bag.

Mom: Well since it looks like you guys arent trying to believe her I would like to know her consequences..

Security: Well her major consequence would be to spend 6 months in jail

Mom: 6 months in jail!!

Me: What?!!...I cant go to jail!...I cant have a record!

Security: Im sorry but thats the punishment

Me: Mom you have to do something! No colleges or good jobs is going to want a girl whos went to jail for 6 months! I cant go to jail I couldnt handle it in there!

Mom: Excuse me sir but Is there anyway there could be any kind of punishment thats not so bad. Please shes really a good girl who stays out of trouble and tries her best to stay on the right path.
