Still Cant Believe This

The next morning came and I had to get up early for basketball practice at the Y. A lot girls from my school participated in activities at the Y so a lot of them would be up there. I felt like I got no rest because the whole situation has been on my mind heavy. My hair was everywhere right now and I didn't feel like doing anything to it so I just let it be curly all over the place. I put on my jersey and my basketball shorts. I brushed my teeth and wash my face and then put on my basketball shoes. Once I was finished getting ready I headed down the hallway and knocked on my moms door to let her know I was ready. She took about five minutes and then she came out of her room and we went to the car.

Mom: You want anything to eat?

Me: I ate two gnoloa bars before we left the house.

Mom: Thats all you wanted?

I knodded my head yeah.

Mom: Andrea I know how you feel but dont stress so much about this. It'll be over before you know it.

Me: How can I not stress about it? I have to go to some dumb jail camp mom. Im going to be stressed out

Mom: Well he did say if you do good for a while there may be an early release and besides just be glad its not going on your record

I sighed and didnt say anything until we arrived at the Y. Once we did I told my mom bye and then walked to school. Once I got to the gym I sat down on the bleachers and put my head down until practiced. Other girls were shooting around or talking but I just sat there with my head in my hands. As I was sitting there someone came and took a seat next to me.

Jaylynn: Hey girl

I popped my head up and looked at her

Me: Hey

Jaylynn: I heard about what happened.

I looked at her and frowned

Me: About what

Jaylynn: You know...the whole mall situation

Me: Who told you that?

Jaylynn: Its just been goin around

I rolled my eyes and put my head back down. As I was sitting there I heard Aaliyah come in. I knew it was her because shes loud and always says somethin once she arrives. She came and sat down next to me.

Aaliyah: Waaake yo sleepy ass up

I looked at her and pushed her away

Me: Shh!

Aaliyah: Dont shh me

Me: I hardly got any sleep last night Aaliyah so im really tired.

Aaliyah: Well im trying to wake you up so you can be alert and take your mind off of things

Me: Uugghh

I finally sat straight up but then I just leaned back on the bleachers and watched everyone walk in. As I was looking around the gym I seen Tiffany off to the side. She was staring at me and talking to her friends and few basketball guys were in here. They were all looking at me and laughin or somethin. Im usually really calm and stay out of trouble but I was fed up so at that point I needed to confront her. I stared at them for a little longer and then next thing you know I was walking towards them. Aaliyah came following after me.

Aaliyah: What are you doing?

Me: Dont worry I got this

Aaliyah: Are you about to fight her?

Me: I said I got this.

I continued walking towards them and then I approached Tiffany

Me: So you think that stuff you pulled is funny
