I was sound asleep until a loud whistel went off. I opened one eye and looked around the room. I seen Monica already up and about to brush her teeth

Me: God you get up quick

Monica: Yeah im use to it. And I suggest you get use to it too so he wont add on to your duty.

Me: I dont even know what my duty is yet. All I did was wash a big ass cafeteria floor

Monica: Ohh yeah I forgot about that. You better start coming up with some strategies to finish your first task or you're going to be cleaning that floor for a long time.

Me: I dont even deserve to be here yo that's the crazy part

Monica: A lot of people dont deserve to be here but once you're here that's it. You're one of us.

I sighed and brushed my teeth and then put on these black generic shoes they had us wear. I then followed monica out the doors and we went to the cafeteria. Everyone was standing in line. A few guys came and cut in front of me.

Me: Excuse me but I was standing here

One of the boys turned around looked at me. It just happened to be jamal

Jamal: And?

I rolled my eyes and tried cutting back in front of them where monica was but jamal pulled my arm back.

Me: Can you not touch me

Jamal: Then stay yo ass back there

Me: No cause thats where I was standing

Jamal: I dont give a fuck where you were standing. Im standin here now so chill out freshmeat.

I looked at him with an attitude. I could not stand him and this was only my second day here. How could someone so cute be an asshole. I just sat there in line until it was my turn to get some food. Once I did monica waited for me until I walked over to her. We went and found a seat next to her friend bree.

Bree: So whats your name again

Me: Andrea

Bree: Ohh thats pretty.

Me: Thanks

Bree: So why you in here?

Me: I got framed for stealing some 700 thousand diamonds

Bree: Damn that sucks. But dont be tellin too many people that you got framed

Me: Why not?

Bree: Because they will think that you're soft and that you don't belong here so therefore you're an easy target.

Me: Well I honestly dont care what people think of me to be perfectly honest with you and besides I don't belong here so they can target me all they want but I'll fight back

Bree: You sound like you got a lot of heart but in here..thats goin to be hard to keep.

As we were all talking and eating the whistle blew. Everyone looked over at Sir Davis.

Sir Davis: Alright you all should of got your nutrition already so throw those trays away and head outside for those 10 laps.

Everyone got up and threw their trays away. This girl bumped me and then mugged me.

Her: Thanks a lot for the laps

Me: I didnt do it on purpose and no need for the little bump
