We are all back at the Mikaelson Mansion. Everyone coming back with glum faces. All lips fixed into an frown, sad eyes everywhere. They have lost apart of themselves. Their friends, their brother. I think it's only just hitting them.
"He'll turn up whenever he's ready," Elijah tries to reassure everyone. Then everyone leaves.
I go up to my room and sit in silence. Hayleys there waiting for me.
"Caroline," she says.
I smile weakly.
"I want to apologise. I judged you, especially when we first met with Ty," she says.
"I'm also so sorry that he cheated on you. And I have been mad at you for, well, being a bitch. However, I never tried to understand your side of things," she says.
I look at her confused. I'm in shock. Why is she being kind? Why now?
"Thank you." I stutter.
Then Rebekah walks in, sashaying as usual.
She smiles. Hayley and Rebekah, maybe I miss judged them.
They both give me a hug.
"Thank you, for helping me look for my brother today," Rebekah says.
Rebekah sits down next to Rebekah and me.
We begin talking for ages. They open up to me about there life. I just listen. It is kind of uncomfortable a bit strange for me. But they are trying, I mean... it's a start.
They aren't totally boring me.
They were kind of like, the big sisters I never had.
Three hours later it's 11:00. I have been quite for a while now. But then it hits me.
"OMG!" I exclaims.
They look at me confused.
"Guys! Guys! I think I know where Klaus is," I say.
They give the exact same expression at the exact same time.
"GO!" they both scream.
The rest is all a crazy, fast blur. How did I not think of this? How did no one think of this? What am I going to say? I need to take deep breaths. I really screwed things up.
Like so badly.
I camp all the way to Mystic falls. My feet are killing me but I don't care. If I don't find Klaus, then the others will kill me. And I need to stay alive. That's the only reason why I am going, I swear!
The wind blowing all over my face making me squint my eyes.
I run like my life depends on it, because it does.
I try to take deep breathes. My shoes all muddy from the forests I have walked through. I have climbed many hill and steels and sloped to get to him. Back to where it all started.
I arrive back at my house. Of course. He went back to Mystic falls. Back to where we first met. In my room. I mean, it's sort of creepy.
I hesitate for a second before I go in.
"Klaus!" I say.
He looks up. He has puffy eyes. In a plain white shirt and jeans.
