Baby Shower

It has been a week later. A week since I had my humanity back. And I am back to my usual, happy, preppy self. I've mended my relationships with all of the Mikaelson's. It took time, I'm not surprised with that, but I didn't. I never gave up. It is so important to me and Klaus that I get along with all of them! Kol was especially tricky to get along with, but we bonded. Now I'm friends and quite close with all of them.
"Are you ready for the shower?" Rebekah asks excitedly.  She fixes her blue dress smoothing it out.
Hayley nods but still looks uncertain. She is wearing a silver sparkly dress. She looks amazing!
"You look beautiful!" I exclaim. Rebekah and Hayley walk into the room where the party starts.
I stay in the hallway. Taking in today! My last day, Im not ready to say goodbye to Klaus.
Then I hear someone coming.
"Klaus," I say and turn around.
"Hello Luv," he says.
Things have been great with us. He showed me all of New Orleans.
We had picnics and he took me to art exhibitions, he also showed me a few of his paintings. We also went swimming and we camped in forests. It has been the best week. But we both have neglected the fact that I am leaving and that I have to go back to my old life.
I stayed in New Orleans a bit longer than planned. But I am leaving after the baby shower.
The baby shower was my last act, and time with Klaus.
"You look beautiful," he says smiling with sad eyes again.
"You don't look so bad yourself," I reply.
"Klaus, you have to promise me. When I'm gone, continue to be the good part of you that I see," I say touching his hair.
"Im going to miss you, Caroline," he says.
I lean in the kiss him.
I'll miss him more than he'll ever know.
"Let's go to the party," I say taking his hand.
We walk in together and the room is beautiful. It filled with blue and pink balloons. There are banners and theres cake. There's also streamer and the party looks great! It was such a success. Even Elijah looks like he is having fun for once. He is dancing with Hayley. Hayley looks happy, really happy.
Me and Rebekah did a great job. Everyone is out on the dance floor.
"I don't dance." Klaus says looking at me.
"Today, I think you do," I say not taking no for an answer.
I really am pushy.
At first, klaus is awkward, I can tell there's something bugging him.
But after a few minutes, he is having fun. He is letting go.
Hayley has friends in the Bayou that are also here.
They made me feel uncomfortable at times but I try to keep an open mind and get along with them.
Hayley told me about the one of them. Jackson I think his name is. Jackson and Hayley use to have a relationship but team Halijah won. Personally I agree with Hayleys choice. They are purely soulmates. The way Elijah looks at Hayley, and the way she smiles whenever he walks into a room, it's cute. You can tell they are just meant to be together. I don't think Jackson got the message though, he's longingly looking at Hayley, you can tell he thinks Hayley chose wrong.
I look at Klaus, I think of everything we've been through. I've seen the way he looks at me. It makes me wonder why I'm leaving. Sometimes I wish I could stay, but I can't.
"Now it's time for the presents," Kol and Davina exclaims.
Then I notice Klaus is gone. Where did he go and when?
I scan the room looking for him.
"Guys! Thank you so much. You guys really didn't have to," Hayley gushes.

"For you Hayley, you deserve the world!" Elijah replies.
Hayley kisses Elijah. She's so grateful too him. I hear a howl just as Hayley is about to open her presents.
That baby is going to be extremely lucky.
I go outside, looking for him.
Moments later, I hear a twig snap in the far. He's in the forest. With the sun bearing down on my face, I rush into the forest.
I follow the paw prints.
Eventually, they finally lead me to him. I spot a wolf. I run up to it. It's Klaus. I give the wolf a hug, I hope he's okay. Then I found his clothes. I grab his shirt and boxers, throw them to him and turn around.
Seconds later, he transforms back into a human. We begin walking.
"Why did you leave the party?" I ask softly.
"I just needed some air," he replies.
" I don't want you to go," he says finally.
I look at him sadly. I have to, I have to get back to my new life.
"You know I can't, I have to leave. My
Mum, my friends..." I say.
"Marry me," Klaus exclaims.
Omg.
"What?" I ask. I'm not sure I heard probably.
"Marry me Caroline," klaus repeats.
My eyes widen, my mouth dangles open.
"Klaus-" I begin
"I- I love for so so much, but I have a life back in Mystic Falls. I have to get back to it." I reply. I know this wasn't the answer he wanted to hear.
"Why? C-Caroline I need you," he says.
"I can't, I'm sorry- I- can't," I say.
We both head back to the party, none of us in a party mood. I screwed up. I've messed things up. Now we will leave things in bad terms. I can't marry Klaus. Not now. I'm leaving, I have to.
But when we get to party, Hayley, Kol, Davina, Elijah, Marcel and Rebekah are gone.
"Where is everyone?" I question looking confused.
"Hayley went into labour!" Josh exclaims.
"Where is she?" Klaus immediately asks.
"She went to Jackson's nan's house in the Bayou," Josh replies.
Klaus vamps off. I stay and panic.
Hayley went into labour!
She is having her baby....
