"Happy birthday to you!"

Tyson blew on the five candles sitting atop of the cake with a happy giggle, his cheeks hurting from all the smiling he'd done for the entire day. You watched from the side, noticing that Auston was smiling as well, phone in his hand as he snapped a picture of the moment.

Your hand subconsciously traveled to your stomach, stopping just under your belly button as you watched the scene unfold in front of your eyes. You watched your family, Tyson being lifted up in Auston's arms as your husband cut the cake, the two of them talking lightly as they got the job done. Your happy family.

"So, baby number two on the way, eh?"

You turned around to face Freddie, the person that had snapped out of your thoughts, with a smile. "I guess so,"

"Auston can't stop talking about it," the ginger admitted, folding his arms over his chest as he watched the party from his place beside you. "Well, it's his first pregnancy, after all,"

"Yeah," you nodded your head. "Tyson is still clueless, but we'll tell him as soon as we have an ultrasound,"

Freddie smiled at the mention of Tyson, accepting the cake that was handed to him by Ema with a small 'thank you'. "How far along are you?"

"Still not sure, but I might be a month and a half," you said. "Auston didn't want me to go to the appointment on my own, so we booked a little later than usual,"

"Mommy, look!" Tyson interrupted your conversation with Freddie. "Uncle Mitchy got me a new stick!"

"Did you say thank you to him?" You bent down at his height, carding a hand through his messy, short hair. He nodded excitedly, kissing your cheek before running back to his friends.

"And what about you and Hillary?" You asked cheekily, looking up at the man as you kept your conversation going. His cheeks turned a light shade of red, a shy smile forming on his lips as he shook his head.

"We're just talking,"

"Just talking?" You lifted an eyebrow, making him laugh out.

"I mean, I'm planning on doing something," he sighed, running a hand through his hair as he bit his lips. "It's just- she's in Arizona, and long-distance doesn't really go well with me,"

"Hey, you got all the time in the world to figure it out,"

"But what if she finds someone else in the meantime?" He sighed out. "I don't want to see her with other people, you know?"

You smiled, realizing that what had been happening inside of Freddie wasn't just a small crush. "I know, I get you,"

"Okay, we're done," Auston breathed out, interrupting your conversation as he finally settled down next to you. "Kids are out playing with the snow, presents are opened and the cake is literally finished,"

You giggled at Auston's state: he looked pretty tired from dealing with kids for the entire afternoon, his hair was all over the place and his cheeks were flushed a deep shade of red.

"Who knew Auston Matthews could organize bomb birthdays?" You joked, pecking his lips when he glared your way. "He barely even let me decorate,"

Freddie chuckled, looking down at his phone when it started ringing before excusing himself. You chuckled, already knowing who it might have been as you watched him leave.

Auston pulled you close to his body, kissing the top of your head as his hand wandered to your stomach, laying flat against it. "I can't wait for tomorrow,"

"Me neither, honestly," you whispered. "I still can't believe we're going to be parents again,"

"How do you think Tyson is going to react?" Auston asked, his eyes on your son playing outside with his friends, all bundled up in his coat and scarf.
