Chapter 9

𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐞𝐲𝐞𝐨𝐧 𝐏𝐎𝐕

I woke up and I wasn't in the tent, instead I was in my bed which I have missed for the past few months.

I got ready for the day and went downstairs.

"Chaeyeon Unnie! It's chaos outside!" Chaemin said, running up to me.

"What? What's happening?" I asked.

"A bunch of single guys are out there trying to get your hand in marriage!" she explained and my eyes widened.

I looked outside the window and saw my parents, Chaeryeong, and Taehyun trying to send a herd of guys dressed nicely with flowers away.

"Uh, just watch the house and make sure none of them are able to get in, I'll be back." I said and she nodded. I got on my horse and exited the house using the back gate.

I rode to Hyunjin's house since I had plans with the boys to hang out right now. I figured they could help me get them away.

I knocked on the door and they all said, "It's open!"

"I need help." I said as I opened the door.

"What happened?" Chan asked.

"So basically, since I technically saved the whole nation, a bunch of single guys want my hand in marriage and there's a crowd of them in front of my house." I explained in one breath.

"Woah, okay, you all brought your horses, right?" Jisung asked turning around to look at all of the guys and they nodded.

We all got on our horses and then rode to my house. All the guys were still there, and I'm pretty sure more came.

"When you said a bunch, I thought you meant like 7 or 8, but this is like 30!" Changbin said and I laughed.

"I'm pretty sure more came, but let's get them out of here because I don't feel like rejecting them respectfully one by one." I said and they nodded.

"Yah! She isn't interested!" Changbin shouted and I'm pretty sure the whole nation could hear that.

"How do you know?" one of the guys asked.

"Because I asked him to say it because I do not feel like rejecting each and every one of you one by one today." I said blatantly while moving to the side because I'm pretty sure they didn't realize I was there.

"Chaeyeon!" I heard a few of them say and they started rushing towards me, but the guys came in front of me so that they couldn't.

"Okay! Time to leave!" my dad shouted and they all sighed and left.

We all went inside and my grandma was making breakfast as if nothing happened.

"Good Morning family and Chaeyeon's friends!" grandma said while smiling.

We all bowed and said, "Good Morning!"

"Sit down and I eat! I made enough food for everyone!" grandma said and I looked at the table to see multiple trays of food.

"Mom, this is enough food for the whole town." my dad said.

"Well, too late." grandma said shrugging.

"I'll get the girls over, I'm sure we'll be able to finish all this food if they're here, too." I said and they nodded.

The girls came here in a flash and we immediately started eating.

After we ate, we all went to the garden to hang out.

"Wait, so we know Chaeyeon, Eunbi, Hyewon, Yena, and Chaewon, but what about the others?" Chan asked.

"I'm Sakura, but call me Kkura, I'm 21 and my soulmate in Irene~" Sakura Unnie said.

"I'm Minju and I'm 18." Minju said.

"I'm Nako and I'm 18 and yes I'm older than these two." she said pointing at Yujin and Wonyoung. 

"I'm Hitomi and I'm 18, too." Hitomi said.

"I'm Yuri and I'm the last 18 year old." Yuri said.

"I'm Yujin and I'm 16." Yujin said and all the boys' eyes went wide.

"What? Wonyoung is even younger." Yujin said.

"I'm Wonyoung, the youngest, and I'm 15." Wonyoung said.

"Wait, but like how did you all meet, I mean no offense, but like that's a nine year difference." Changbin asked.

"Well, Eunbi Unnie wasn't getting matched and when the rest of our parents sent us to the matchmaker, we all met and clicked because we all were educated." Yena Unnie explained.

"Wonnie and I's parents started taking us to the matchmaker at like thirteen because they were worried we wouldn't be able to find anyone since we went to school." Yujin added.

"Oh, wait, Wonyoung is the girl who snuck into the camp, right?" Jeongin asked.

Wonyoung nodded and we continued talking about random things and getting to know each other.

Everyone was heading home, but Jisung said he wanted to talk for a while.

"S0, what did you wanna talk about?" I asked as I sat next to him.

"I just wanted to say sorry for leaving you at the mountain. I just didn't know what to do. I mean, I'm the new general and I have no idea how to be the general." he said.

"Don't worry, I already forgave you plus I understand. Anyways, how are you holding up? I mean like your dad......" I asked.

"I've been better, but I'm just trying to stay strong for my mom." he said and I nodded.

"Well, I gotta go, but see you when I see you." he said and left.

"You like him." I heard someone say and I jumped.

I turned around and saw Chaeryeong.

"Jeez, warning please." I said.

"Don't change the topic, you like him~" she teased and I rolled my eyes.

"I listened to your whole conversation, and don't think that I didn't see the little blush on your face.

"Fine, I like him, but he probably doesn't like me......" I admitted.

"Oh come on, have a little hope, you had like thirty guys wanting your hand in marriage this morning." She tried to reason out.

"Yeah, but those are guys, Han Jisung just seems different." I said.
