Chapter 6

𝐉𝐢𝐬𝐮𝐧𝐠 𝐏𝐎𝐕

I woke up the next morning before anyone else.

I was moved to my dad's tent since I had to discuss a few things with JB Hyung, Mark Hyung, Jackson Hyung, Jinyoung Hyung, Youngjae Hyung, Bam Bam Hyung, and Yugyeom Hyung, the seven guards dad left to help me.

I got ready and the seven Hyung's were at my tent.

"So, Mr. Park said we're going to go to the main city since that's where they are expected to go if the other group of guards are not able to stop them. There should be about a hundred men on their side, but they are said to have someone on their side that is extremely powerful which is why they cannot be stopped." JB Hyung explained and I nodded.

"Well, we should get going and just have breakfast on the road." I said and they nodded.

Mr. Park made an announcement for everyone to get ready and I got all my stuff and got on my horse.

The eight guys came up to me on their horse with all their stuff.

"You ready dude?" Chan Hyung asked and I nodded.

"I guess I have to be." I said and shrugged.

They were about to leave and go behind the other guards but I said, "Wait! I want you guys to stay up here with me. Not only is it comforting to me, but because you eight got the highest scores from evaluation."

"Really?! Okay!" Changbin said happily and they all came back.

Once Mr. Park made sure that everyone was here, we set off.

We were coming up on the town that my dad and his men were supposed to protect from the invaders, but as we approached it, we saw the town was totally wrecked and the armor of my dad's men was scattered all over the place. What's even worse is that it was snowing so it's hard to find if there's any survivors.

We all looked around and I saw my dad's sword and helmet on the cold snow.

I went searching for him and shouted for his name, but got nothing.

"Future General Han, we should get going. The invaders should be near since the fire is still going." Mr. Park said and I nodded.

I got back on my horse and put my dad's helmet and sword in a bag. I started tearing up, but stopped myself. I can only cry once I kill and defeat the people responsible for killing my dad.

"Hey, you okay?" Chae asked and I nodded.

"Yup, let's go." I said and we were off.

We were going through the snow when we saw the invaders all gathered in front of us as if they were waiting for us.

"Well, well, well, it's General Han's son. You have no idea how much fun I had bringing your dad to his death just like he did to mine." the head of the invaders, known as Alastor, said.

"Your father was a horrible person, unlike mine." I said.

"Well, now that they're both dead, it's you vs me." he retorted. He motioned his men to attack and so did I.

𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐲𝐞𝐨𝐧 𝐏𝐎𝐕

I was fighting some random dude when I noticed a lady standing on a rock wearing similar clothes as the invaders. She started using some sort of magic to attack out men and that's when I realized that she is the shapeshifting witch. No one knows her real name, but she is extremely dangerous. She also played a factor the last time we were at war.

She was totally wrecking our men so I decided to do something.

I saw a huge pile of snow on the mountain and decided that if I could hit it with something hard enough, it would be able to tackle all the invaders.

I slowly fought my way out of the fight, but I got hit by a sword on my stomach while doing so. I just shook it off and kept on going.

I got to a place where barely anyone was and searched for things in my bag that could hit the glacier.

I found a firework that I got from the town we passed by and figured we could use at some point. I aimed it so it can hit exactly at the pile of snow.

I lit it up and let it go. I immediately went to Jisung and told him, "Tell everyone to move out, a glacier is coming."

He nodded and shouted, "EVERYONE MOVE OUT! EVERYONE MOVE OUT!"

He kept on repeating and everyone started moving away. The firework hit the glacier and snow started flooding almost instantly. The invaders couldn't see it so they were dumbfounded when we started going away from the mountain.

Once we were sure that the glacier wouldn't go any farther, we stopped and made sure everyone was here.

"Everyone is here." Mr. Park said and Jisung nodded.

I felt a pain in my stomach when I remembered the scar. I was losing a lot of blood and started getting light headed.

"Chae!" I heard someone yell and then I blacked out.
