Five minutes. Just five more minutes until Maggie and I meet our heroes. The ones that have helped us pick up what's been broken. The one's who've kept us smiling even when we feel like frowning. We got our tickets the very day that they were on sale.
I counted down the days on my calender. I fangirled with my friends. I talked about what I was going to say to them, to my family. Everyone called me crazy. Maggie was the only one who understood how I felt because she was going with me.
I could start to see the flashing of camera's and slight screams from the girls in fornt of me. "Maggie, I can't believe we're going to meet them." I said to her. "I know. It doesn't even seem real." She squeezed my shoulder in excitement.
Soon enough we had a full view of all the boys. Cameron, Matthew, Taylor, Aaron, Brent, Shawn, Carter, Mahogany, Jack and Jack, and Nash. I knew Maggie was dying to meet Cameron and he was literally the first person we got to meet.
"Hi." I heard Maggie say behind tears. "Awe don't cry beautiful." Cameron kissed her cheek and then posed for a picture. It was absolutly adorable. "I'll catch up with." I told Maggie as she headed towards Shawn. She nodded and soon it was my turn to feel Cameron's warm hug.
"Hi, what's your name?" He asked within our hug. "I'm Megan." I stuttered out. "Megan. I like that." He smiled. I blushed slightly and posed for the camera. My arm was around his torso and his was around mine.
"Thank you so much." I said, giving him one last hug. "Of course. Hope we get to meet again!" He waved. I grabbed my phone and went straight to Taylor. Out of everyone in Magcon, I think he's the most inspirational.
I mean, he was homeless for a little while AS a teenager. He went from nothing to having millions of girls screaming his name. I felt a connection through that.
I walked up to where Taylor was meeting his fans and stood in line. There were only about five girls in front of me but it still felt like thirty people.
Each person taking their time, which is understandable. Finally I was first in line. I saw Taylor hug this girl, who was in front of me, kiss her on the cheek, take a photo, and then hug her goodbye.
Taylor's glance fell on me. It sent chills up my body. He lifted his arms up and I fell into them with every fiber of my being. "I just want you to know that you've made such an impact on my life and you will forver be my number one." I said into his shirt and reaching my hadn up to touch his blue bandana.
"That means the world to me. Thank you. And your name is?" He asked. "Megan." I smiled. "Well Megan, you look very beautiful this evening. Care for a picture?" He chuckled. "Of course." I turned my back to him and made a serious face while he stood with his stomache to my back whle making a serious face too.
I can just feel his sexy face through the camera lense. When we let go I gave him one last hug and then headed to Nash. I didn't really care too much to meet anyone else so I skipped a few people to get over to Nash.
There was no denying his beautiful blue eyes. They almost didn't seem real. I've heard that he's the main jokester in the group so I wanted to test his humor. I cracked a few jokes on him that were so bad, they were funny.
"Mind if we take one more picture?" I asked. "Yeah, what do ya wanna do?" He questioned in his cute Tennese accent. "Can you carry me bridal shower way?" I asked. "Sure." He put his arms out and I jumped into them. I tried so hard not to laugh for the picture.
Him too. When he set me down, I gave him another hug and then headed outside. I sat on the curb and just thought through what had just happened.
I could still feel Taylor's arms around me and his shirt pressed against my face. I was obviously still in shock because I would be screaming and crying if I wasn't. After about twenty minutes, Maggie finally came outside.
"So, how was it?" I asked her. "I can't believe that just happened! Shawn was so sweet and then Brent kept making his MMHMM and then Cameron's muscles flexed when we hugged and just oh my god Megan!" I laughed at her.
"Well, I guess I'll drive then." We headed to our car which was ages away but once we got there we looked down the street at the cars parked even farther away so we couldn't complain.
I blasted102.7 and we sang (more like screamed) the lyrics to Jealous by Nick Jonas. It was an ideal night for Maggie and I. When we got to my house Maggie took the wheel as I got out.
"Text me!" She shouted through the window. "Sure will!" I said behind my shoulder. I unlocked my door and stepped inside. I could hear my parents arguing in the living room. They hardly ever argue but when they do, its scary.
I started walking up the stairs but I guess I wasn't quiet enough. "Megan!? Is that you?" My dad hollared. "Yeah." I said back. "Come here a second." I rolled my eyes and walked into the living room. I automatically realized that he was drunk.
My mom sat on the couch bewildered and he was just staring at her. I wondered why she looked so terrified but when my dad turned hisbody to face mine, I saw the gun. "Dad why do you have a gun..."
I asked, slowly backing up. "Do you think that your mother can be a real bitch sometimes?" He said, avoiding my question. "No." I was now terrified. "Colin!?" I shouted. "Honey please just go." My mom said nervously.
"Shutup women." He gritted his teeth. Colin hopped down the stairs and entered the room. "What's u-" He immediatly saw the gun. "What's going on?" He asked. "He's drunk." My mom spat. "Shutup!" The house echoed.
"Why don't you kids just come with me." He motioned us to the door. "Don't listen to him, he's drunk!" My mom warned. "I said SHUTUP!" He turned around and the gun fired. I watched as it hit my mom in the chest. She fell over awkwardly and I sprinted to her side.
"Mom!" I shouted. Her eyes flickered but then she was lifeless. "What the hell is wrong with you!" Colin shouted at our dad. Then the gun fired again and Colin fell to the floor. I stood up slowly, realizing that I was next.
"Dad you're drunk. You don't know what you're doing." I said softly behind my sobs. "Stop talking!" He shouted. "Dad. Put the gun do-" All that I could hear was a bang and then the room went blurry.
I felt my breaths getting deeper and my surroundings were brighter. But I wasn't exactly gone yet. I dragged my limp body under the table and watched my own father set the curtains on fire. Soon the couch caught the flame and then carpet.
He just stood there staring at my mom. Then he started to cry. It was terrible to watch. My dad was never like this. Maybe he had depression that we didn't even know about.
Then he pointed the gun at himself. I turned away right as he pulled the trigger. Then everything went black.
