Chapter 3: Who do I chose?

His words were stuck in my head for the rest of the day. How... can someone like him... who has so many girls that want him... like me...? It doesn't make any sense.  "Hey sweetie. Are you okay?" asked my mom. "Hu? Oh yea I am fine. I am going to my room and going to call Peyton." I said as I walked up stairs. Then I called Peyton. "Hey what's up Emma?" asked Peyton. "A lot! Can you please come over to my house with Mary." I said. "Sure be there in 20." she said. "okay see you here." I said and she hung up. 

~20 mins later~

"Oh welcome. She is in her room." I heard my mom say. "Hey Emma. What's up?" asked Peyton. "Yea what is wrong?" asked Mary. "Well.. Jacob told me he likes me... and I told him I like him too... but i-.. I also like... Tanner." I said looking down. "aw emma! well who do you like more?" asked Peyton. "that is the thing... I don't know.. I like both of them. But its just weird.. how can a boy that has so many girls after him.. like.. someone... like..... me." I said. "Emma! Look, You are amazing! Any boy would be so lucky to date you. And if they don't see it, then that is their lost. Don't bring yourself down. Boys yea they are cute. But they can also be stupid." Both Mary and Peyton said. "Aw girls! But what guy would ever want a girl like me?!" I said looking down. "I would." said... "Jacob.." I said looking up.  "w-what are you doing here?" I asked. "I asked him to come over." said Mary. "oh.." I said. "Look Emma, I know you like both Tanner and I but if you end up with Tanner I won't be mad at you. I'll still be your best friend. All I want is for you to be happy. And if anyone dares to hurt you, I'll be here to help you feel better. You are amazing and Beautiful. Any boy would be lucky to have you." He said.  "I- I don't know what to say.. Jacob you are so sweet and kind! Any girl would be so lucky to have you." I said

~later that night~

Peyton, Mary, and Jacob left. "Sweetie is everything okay?" Asked my mom. "Yea. Everything is okay." I said. I went to my room and called Tanner. "Hey Tanner." I said. "Hey Emma. what's up?"asked Tanner. "Nothing really anyways what did you wanna ask me?" I asked. "Wanna maybe go out some day?" asked Tanner. "As in a date?" I asked. "Yea.." said Tanner. "Sure!" I said. "Cool! Sunday at 5?" asked Tanner. "Yea!." I said. We talked for 3 hours. Then I had to hung up and went to shower.

I got out of the shower and got ready to sleep. I went to bed but was writing in my Dairy.

Dear Dairy, I met two nice and kinda boys. I am so happy that I met them. I like both of them yea. But I think I like Tanner more... I am not sure.. my feelings are all over the place right now. Well I got a date this up coming weekend with Tanner! I just hope that if I do date Tanner, Jacob won't be mad. I mean he said all he wants is for me to be happy right... well I am not sure right now. Anyways can't wait!

~The next morning~

*emma's outfit*

I woke up the next day and got ready. And went down stairs. "Hi mom." I said. "Hi sweetie!" said my mom. "I gotta go! Tanner is here waiting for me." I said. "Okay sweetie! Have a good day at school!" said my mom.

We got to school and everything was okay. School was normal. Jacob and I hung out like always. This week went by so fast. It was almost time for my date!  I can't wait!
